  • Works as advertised...
Size: Small
This is a great pump, almost worth everyone having one just in case. I bought it to pump out a king size waterbed. The directions were easy, although it says to put a tablespoon of food oil in the intake and output connections (a little strange, and only a teaspoon of oil fit into the value). The waterbed took 90 minutes to empty, no issues whatsoever. I could have sped things up by using a wider hose, but I have no complaints. I ran 175 feet(!) of hose from the bedroom down the hall, thru the front door, down the driveway and out onto the street. Now that's what you call pushing water! Now I will happily put it into storage, happy to know that the next time I have water issues or my basement sump pump breaks, I have a spare pump ready to go. Simply put the intake hose into the water, put the out take hose onto the spigot, plug it in and it's that easy. ... show more

  • POWER
Size: Small
It does and works exactly as described. It is more powerful than expected. I forgot to open the Vent valve and see what it did to my rain barrel. It sucked the crap out of it.

  • Saved my house twice.
Size: Small
I bought this pump several years ago when I had to move a 60 gallon hot water heater out of my basement. The pump worked like a charm and emptied the tank in no time. I then put it in its box and threw it on a shelf in my garage. Fast forward 10 years. I'm living in another house and record rains cause my basement to flood. My shop vac fails, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Eureka! I went and grabbed my old transfer pump. It moved enough water to keep me ahead of the flood and saved 2/3 of my finished basement from water damage. That bad boy ran for 48hrs straight and did a great job. At one point it was having issues, but actually came with a pretty good troubleshooting guide and extra parts. The same flooding issue happened again 3 months later. This time the pump saved my entire downstairs. I went ahead and ordered another one and some more spare parts. This thing works and works great ... show more

  • Perfect for bounce houses.
Size: Small
This is perfect for a water park bounce house. Should pay for itself and save water. We leave our bounce house inflated for days at a time. I did the math and it cost less than $2 a day to keep a bounce house inflated. We fill it with weather then use this pump to circulate water. When we are done, we put the pump hose on a sprinkler and water the lawn. This is the perfect GPH for a bounce house and it's quiet and reliable. Love it. ... show more

  • Great little pump!
Size: Small
If you use this as a transfer pump (as it is intended) it is amazing. The flow is excellent and it makes quick work transferring water from one source to another. It’s not made for pumping water with trash (I saw some negative reviews where others were using it inappropriately). I use it to fill my Rv from my water tank and it’s perfect. The value for the money is great (I tried a $60 pump at Lowe’s and this one blows it away). It’s a bit noisy (like all small pumps used for this application), buts it’s better than others. ... show more

  • Helped empty a water filled rain barrel.
Size: Small
My mother in law had a rain barrel that was sitting too close to the ground, so the water wouldn't flow like it should. We unscrewed the screen off the rain barrel, put the one end in and a hose attached to the other and out came the water! The water didn't go to waste as she was able to water the yard while we emptied the barrel. The pressure was pretty decent as she had a very long hose, yet was still able to get a good flow of water. Great little pump to have if you need to get water out of something. Now we have the rain barrel moved to a higher elevation, however if she gets in a bind again, she is good to go! ... show more

  • Works well for us
Size: Small
Used to it pump waters from our crawl space after the 2017's heavy rains and it works just fine. Used it with 50' garden hose and it pumps about 5 gallon per minute (I measured with a Home Depot bucket). It could be quieter but not a deal breaker. There are similar pumps on the market with different brand names. ... show more

  • Wonderful
Size: Small
Just got it, only used it once but I am most (pos.) impressed. The exact right tool that I was looking for. Had problems with my septic system. Talked to the plumbers about common sense every day use to avoid future problems. I have a 125 gal. fish tank. I use a hose/vavle attached to the kitchen faucet to clean it out. Probably takes 300+ gal to do the job = I'm overtaxing the system. Got this pump so I can pump fish tank water out the back door. Even bought a dedicated 60' 5/8" garden hose for this task. Pump is Self-Priming. Pump has 2 male 3/4 garden hose fittings. Comes with a nice male to male 5/8" hose (about 4 foot long) for the inlet. Even has a great "water suction attachment" to fit on the inlet hose and filter out any solids that may harm pump. I can see this would be very useful for a flooded basement, waterbeds and so many other jobs. .Pump makes noise - good, I know it is working. Got warm but not hot. A/C cord is a decent length but, yes, I used it on an ext. cord - no problems. Capacity/speed? I did not time it but am very happy with the flow rate. Emptied about 3/4 of my tank. It took about the same amount of time to re-fill it from the kitchen faucet. Nice, manageable rate. Pump comes with spare parts: impeller, motor brushes, gaskets, etc. Again, I am most impressed. ... show more
