These lights never worked, even with brand new batteries. There may have been a short in the lights. Sadly, I could not get a replacement without going through a hassle, so I will never know if they were good or not.

These lights work as expected. I actually attached them to the outside of the backboard using command strip clips, and they worked until the battery box finally got full of water and it shorted out. I think for the price, they were just fine. I didn't expect much, so not super let down that they don't work anymore. Got a good 9 months out of them, and maybe it would be longer if I can find a way to keep the box out of the elements better. ... show more

battery compartment got rusty from rain so its definitely not fit for outdoor use......I am disappointed in this product although when we were able to use them the lights were fairly bright

While it was ok I did hope that this would be a better product. It was not the quality I had hoped for. I would not buy this again.

I was clearly expecting the wrong thing. This is just a string of battery powered LED lights and they give you zip ties to fix it to a basketball hoop. I thought it would be more a standard size thing that came ready to more easily pop onto a hoop. I could’ve saved money by just getting regular LED lights and zip tied (or duct tape!) them on myself. That said, the colors seem nice when I turn them on in the box. Not yet sure if I will return or try to install. But when I opened the box: disappointing. ... show more

I bought this for my son when he got his basketball hoop. They are very cool to use when playing in darker conditions. He loves that you can have it cycle through the colors or choose your favorite with different effects. I definitely recommend.
