In the 25ish years that I have been wearing makeup, I have consistently tried different foundations. I’ve made my way through the spectrum of drug store ones, to high-end designer brands. This brand has been my all time favorite! I’ve been using it for several years now, and that’s the longest I’ve ever stayed loyal to a specific foundation. It lasts me a long time, because you really don’t have to apply very much. It’s full coverage, but without the thick, heavy feeling. It goes on pretty easily and smoothly, not like lots of full coverage foundations that feel so thick, and difficult to spread and blend. Doesn’t look caked on, dry, or cracked. Usually appears smooth, makes my skin look hydrated with a bit of a dewy glow (I apply with a wet/damp beauty blender). I was skeptical about this foundation because of the low price. But then again, for less than $10 I thought why not. It’s already cheaper than most drugstore brands. Wasn’t sure on the shade match so I just guessed. I ordered 05 Sand. For reference, I’m usually shade 310 in Fit Me Matte & Poreless. I am a normal to dry skin type. Mature, over 40 skin. When I got it in the mail, it was a little darker than I expected, but I knew with the right concealer & careful blending I could make it work & I was right! I love this foundation! As someone who owns approximately 30 foundations, I find myself reaching for this one when I want full coverage that lasts. I wear it when I’m creating content & special occasions where I know I’ll be photographed. It gives such a flawless base. I find it a little heavy for everyday wear, but I have found I can mix it with other more sheer foundations to add a little coverage or deepen the shade. It works well with other products such as primers, cream contouring products & powders. I don’t have issues with it lifting when applying other products on top. It is more on the matte side, so I use it with a pore filling primer & a liquid illuminator (Becca) underneath & it gives the most beautiful glow! I’m 44 so I try to steer clear of fully matte products but this one is so easy to adapt for my skin. I love this foundation so much I am ordering it in a lighter shade as well. Even though it is full coverage & very matte, I think it can be sheered out to be more wearable for everyday. As a former working freelance makeup artist, I think this would be a fantastic foundation to add to any professional kit! The price is affordable enough to purchase the entire shade range yet looks incredible! I think it could work for a variety of skin types. I use this foundation for full coverage only. It has little to no smell, is hours lasting durability wise and is somewhat easy to match to my skin tone. I did have to buy 2 different shades to figure out which was better. I would say the one downside is it can contribute to oily skin, so use carefully. I have terrible skin. Red, blotchy, acne prone, scars. At 59 years old the wrinkles and fine lines are a problem too. I’ve spent a fortune trying different products then throw them away. This foundation is amazing. It covers great and feels light, not cakey. It does not cause the breakouts that many other foundations have. And, it stays on all day. The colors are either not consistent or somehow it is oxidizing in the bottle. The original porcelain I got I had more of a pink tone. It was getting really low so I bought a new set with the porcelain in it. It's past the return window now because I didn't use it right away. The new one is much more yellow and lighter. The things I do like about this is if I put on a good oil moisturizer before I put them on they go on really smooth and I am able to get full coverage. It was something I had to learn because if I don't put a good oil base moisturizer on it dries too fast and it seems to dry my skin out. It does not work well with certain moisturizers that will seem to almost peel underneath. But I am using bio oil under this and it's fabulous. I feel I have found the perfect foundation. I bought the 2 pack nude. I tried the buff beige and like it just as much I think I will try the nude next. I do think I have finally found the perfect foundation! Wow! Wow! Wow! I was so excited the minute I put it on and had to call my sis as she has some skin issues. I love this foundation so much! The colors so far equally well. If you feel it has run out take the top off and you can either get far more out of the bottle shaking in like would shake something up but put your finger on the top opening and I just apply with warmth of my fingers or use the tube that brings the product to the top which I do until I can't use that any more and still I can get more out of it. What a find! Thank you so much Amazon for carrying this. I am over the moon for it. I just love love it! What a fantastic price for something like this!
