My kids love to play basketball but would get sad when it got dark. This was the perfect solution. It is very easy to install. The provide zip ties and I was able to do it by myself. The battery back is waterproof and I was able to use the provided tape to stick it to the back of the back board. You can barely tell the lights are on the rim during the day but it’s very bright at night! The kids love to use the remote to change the colors of the lights. The lights are in a clear tube so they are protected from the elements. The color is bright enough for them to play with little outdoor lighting. So much easier than having to install another light. The lights are great and instructions are clear. We set it up on a 70° day. Half of the zip ties broke as we were putting them on, and the rest broke after a few baskets. I'm a sports mom, of course I'm going to have everything that lights up so the kids can play outside for longer! I HIGHLY recommend these lights if your family is active from spring-fall. I'd say winter too, but in Ohio the weather is hit or miss. I bought this for my son for Christmas to go with the basketball hoop AND the Glow City basketball. Used once worked fine, went out tonight to use it for only the 2nd time and it doesnt work even with fresh batteries. hasnt rained at all since we bought it. sun hits the box might have fried it. bad design. update went out to take the lights down and they were broke in half just from playing i guess. crazy ... show more

The product shipped quickly and installed easily, but I am concerned about the quality of the build. There was an open gap where the wires entered the battery compartment that would have allowed rain Inside, which would’ve damaged the components. Fortunately, I saw it before it rained and was able to use silicone to seal the hole. It’s unfortunate this was not done by the company. It lights up well and I hope it lasts. ... show more
