It's easy to assemble, a sleek design and logo and most importantly looks clean and professional. It's so much better than the cluttered eye sore of having sand bags stacked on top. I'm so glad I don't have to mess around with filling the base with sand and worry about the dread of if I ever wanted to move it. Hoop secure is such a simple thing but makes a world of difference while keeping everything looking clean. To give you an idea, I have a total of 8 of the 45 pound sand in a tube bags from Menards inside the Hoop Secure (360 pounds total). I have had this product a couple of weeks and it seems to be doing it’s job. My teenagers cracked the bottom of their basketball goal (where the water or sand goes to hold it down), so it would not hold the water/sand it kept leaking out. My husband found this bag and we put 400 lbs of sand bags in it and so far it’s kept our goal standing through the wind storms. It was easy to install and I love that it zips and hides what’s inside. Way better than an old tire laying on the back! Lol ... show more

    • Great alternative to replacing my basketball hoop
During the winter I nicked the base of our hoop with my snowblower and made a hole big enough so that it will not hold water. Rather than replacing the hoop I purchased a Hoop Secure. Hoop Secure saved me from replacing my entire hoop. Great, simple invention that installed easily and looks good.

This item was a pain saver for me. I’ve had too many goals with broken and cracked bases and this item works really good. I loaded with 350 lbs of sand. My goal is nice and secure.
