Very cheaply made and not reliable. The entire thing is held together with sticky tape and made of cardboard. Only bonus is that it takes less than 5 minutes to assemble and was delivered timely.

You might as well have learned origami and folded a shelf yourself the adhesive is terrible, the pins are flimsy, instructions not clear and will fall apart mid assembly rendering the product useless if you make any mistakes during assembly If you make a mistake that will be the end of it, you wasted 50$, there are no do overs ... show more

When I received this product, there was an obvious bash on one of the corners of one of the shelves as if it had been crushed into itself. The paper-made construction was very evident on this little bash, but it was one of the back corners, so I went ahead with the assembly. I very much enjoyed assembling this product because it's the first I've ever seen of its kind. When ordering, I didn't even realize this was a paper constructed product. I only chose it because it was the perfect size of what I needed. So for the money I paid, 15 to $20 more than what it would have costed for a larger bookshelf made of particle board from a superstore, I really was expecting something of greater quality. When assembling this bookshelf you may realize very quickly that you cannot lift it from the top or from the bottom either really; You have to assemble it, place things on it, and slide it around, never lift it. If you lift it, one of the shelves will easily come off. The adhesive just is not strong enough. Despite that, I trusted in its sturdiness enough to place something on the top of it, hoping the weight would make the adhesive stick more. once I felt comfortable I started loading up the other shelves and it's been fine since then. Since I've had the TV and weight on it for a while now, I wonder if the adhesive has gotten better because of the weight, but I'm not going to lift it to test it. Just DON'T LIFT IT. SLIDE IT. It's extremely overpriced, but unfortunately it's the perfect size for me. The size is unique, it's really hard to find another bookshelf this size and color. So I'm keeping it. ... show more
