overall i had this diffuser for almost 2 whole years and i loved it, it didn't take long to dry my hair, and i have about all letters of type 3 hair on my head. also, the amount of sound is actually really good even when it's on full speed, i never woke anyone up with it and my mom would even be watching tv in the room next to me almost unbothered by the sound no matter the speed. it has if i remember correctly 3 speeds and 3 heat options, one with no heat and the other ones just go from hot to hotter, as well as a button for bursts of cold air all of which i loved. it's also decently light weight though it would be nice if it was lighter, it's pretty easy to hold but can get tiring after a while of holding it an a certain angle. for how cheap it is this is still my favorite diffuser but the one problem that i have is after a good year or so of having it i started hearing sounds that weren't there when it was brand new but i though nothing of it. months later the sound go worse and eventually comepletly broke. i was upset and still am upset but it did last decently long for how cheap it is and also the fact that everything about it is actually really really good for the price has me coming back to get another. just wanted to warn about it potentially breaking after a while simply just from use, and for the record i only used it typically once a week. ... show more

I purchased this one in red as a gift for my mother after I purchased the pink one for myself and loved it. I have very long, thick curly hair down to my butt. I don't dry my hair often but I wanted something smaller but powerful for when I do diffuse my hair. This blow dryer works wonders for myself and my mom. My mom has medium length, thick, straight hair and this dries her hair so fast compared to her older (very dated) one. It is easy for her to hold, grip, and goes so fast it cuts her time down drastically. Light weight, pretty, and it works perfectly. Just what you’d expect. Different temperatures to choose from, and different fan speeds. I’ve used the diffuser both times I’ve used it. I can rest it right against my head, too. And it’s not uncomfortable, not too hot, doesn’t blow my hair around, and the spikes on the diffuser are rounded. All around awesome hair dryer! Fun colors, nice attachments, lightweight, moderately quiet. I love the weight and size of this hair dryer. It doesn’t get too hot, and dries my hair in the same amount of time as any other dryer (no more or less). The end result is very soft, shiny, and healthy looking hair without frizz (even before using a round brush and without diffuser). I would recommend and would buy again. Better than the typical $20 Conair 1875. For hair reference: Caucasian/hispanic with a mass amount of fine, wavy, hair. Short hair, but LOTS!
