    • Was great… for three uses
Super bummed about this one. I used the Drybar blow dry brush to style my hair three times and really LOVED the results on my hair! The 4th time I went to use it, the entire thing completely wouldn’t turn on. I tested it on multiple outlets, both at my home and other’s, and it’s clear that the issue is with the blow dry brush. I would love to give this brush another go, but it’s not worth the cost if it’s just going to break again after three uses. Hopefully mine was just a defective one. I’ve always loved Drybar and their products. It was a fabulous product and great addition to my hair tool collection the few times I got to use it!     • Has worked well for my very long hair, but takes a tad long to dry
For reference, I have very long, medium-thick hair that takes a very long time to dry. I dread washing my hair because it's a whole process (why I haven't cut it is beyond me). I'm always looking not only for products that will make it "fun" to style my hair but also ones that will help me cut down on clutter. This dryer is one that I think is pretty cool because of the multiple attachments it comes with. I very recently got into the round brush dryers, so I was excited that that was one of the attachments for this one. I will say that for my hair needs, the only two attachments that really work best for me are the round brush and the dryer. For starters, the attachment heads are fairly easy to swap. The first couple of times though, I kept pressing down and nothing would happen but then I figured it out. This is also a bit loud, which I was hoping wasn't the case. But I guess it is what it is with hair dryers. The drying power on this is not as strong as I'd like. I compared the round brush with another I own and they are somewhat similar but the other one is still a little faster. Overall though, this still works well and since I have so much hair and several layers, I end up just going section by section. The dryer attachment alone does pretty well to just dry all over, but still also takes some time. When I'm in a big rush, I use my regular old hair dryer so I can just go crazy with it and then style. I love the extra long cord though. That is a big advantage for me as I hate being stuck to just one spot in the bathroom. I can move around as needed. This is also what I'd consider a minimalist product because I can store it upright vs my other hair dryers that seem to take up more space. It also is lightweight, which is great since anything heavy I have to hold upright or above my head hurts my back. All in all, I think that this is a good product and if I had less hair, it would work just perfectly for me and go so much faster. ... show more

I read many reviews before buying and I do own a Dyson - full disclosure. The Dry-bar has enough power and would do the job well except the bristles of the brush bent after using it 3x. It is also heavy despite reviews saying it is light. 2 reasons why I returned it. I thought I buy it for travel but it is way to heavy and brush is poorly made. ... show more

The Drybar Reserve 3-in-1 Interchangeable Blow Dryer is fabulous as I can use it as a blow dryer or brush dryer. I find it lightweight and comfortable to hold. I mostly use it with the round brush attachment for drying, smoothing and styling my fine, medium length hair that’s straight and lifeless yet frizzy and stubborn as it’s resistant to hold. I do also use it like a blow dryer with the concentrator attachment as my bangs get cut too short sometimes to use the round brush attachment, so I can simply use my own round brush with the concentrator to get the bit of lift I need and get my bangs to dry the right direction so they don’t just lay flat on my forehead. Like the Drybar Double Shot (which I’ve used a long time), my hair styles quickly and gets better results when I let it partially air dry before smoothing and styling with the round brush. It’s a big plus that I can use the Drybar Reserve’s blow dry function with the concentrator to quickly get rid of some moisture before styling with the round brush attachment if I don’t have time to just let it partially air dry. Also, for me it’s even better using the paddle brush attachment initially to detangle and start drying and smoothing my hair before I style and shape with the round brush attachment. The paddle brush seems especially good for those with thicker, coarser hair. The Drybar Reserve is a great looking dryer in white with silver trim, and it runs quiet compared to my other dryers. It has two dials to select any combo of air flow and heat that I could possibly need. I get my best results using heat first and always following with cool air to lock in shape, so I love that this dryer has a cool shot button on the unit that’s super easy to access and avoids the need to turn the dial back and forth from hot to cool. The cord is plenty long, and the filter can easily be accessed. The heat and air flow dials are a little narrow but fine. I had a little adjustment period but the operation is second nature now. My hair dries quickly and comes out smooth and well styled with good hold. Love it. 5 stars. ... show more

I will start by saying I love that this comes with the different attachments as I’ve never had anything that did before. It feels very high quality and easy to hold. With that being said, I have very fine hair that usually doesn’t take long to dry but this took about double the time compared to others I have tried. It does leave my hair looking really nice but sometimes I just don’t have the time or patience but with the price I’m not sure that id personally recommend. ... show more
