Absolutely love this. I only have to charge it every few weeks. It's lightweight and quiet. It is extremely effective and I use it 2x daily. Sometimes you do have to refill within the same session, but this is no big deal to me. When I'm doing a quick floss the 1 fill is perfect. When I'm going more in depth I have to refill it 1-2x but again, it's so easy that it doesn't bother me at all. Also cleaning is very easy. The media could not be loaded. I know that water flossers are highly recommended by dentists however my idea of one was a bulky water tank with a little hose and let’s be real if you don’t feel like flossing then having to take the big machine out won’t sound exciting either! This portable water flosser is a whole different story! It’s light and easy to use even for first timers. Depending on the pressure settings you will need to refill the water tank at least 2-4 times, but it’s so easy I don’t mind at all, much better deal for me than having a heavy device. It took me about two days to get the hang of it and personally don’t think the process of water flossing is as messy as other reviews make it seem. I do have to say that even on the lowest pressure it does a very good job and classic floss comes out 100% clean after. As somebody whose gums bleed a lot while flossing I don’t have any abnormal sensitivity or bleeding with water flossing so that’s a pro. This would have been amazing for when my wisdom teeth started growing and it was hard to reach and properly clean the area. At first I was confused about the charging process as it states you should plug it in for 8 hours before use, but my device came already charged. One of the manuals mentions 8h to charge, the other manual states 4h so they should streamline their information. As stated in the listing it only comes with charging cable (no plug included) which means you will need to find one that works with USB (I thought this was a con at first), but it actually makes it great for traveling as you’ll be able to use it anywhere in the world! Noise level is to be expected and nothing out the ordinary. 3 level settings seem to be the appropriate amount as I can’t imagine needing any more. The only thing I wish this device had is battery level and light control for charging. I’m used to my electric toothbrush showing how much battery life I have left and believe the water flosser will only notify you when battery is low. I've been using floss only most of my life and have to use a threading system to get under a bridge which is always a pain. I've had "black triangles" at the gumline between teeth for many years. I asked my dentist about these and he says it just happens with time and age and the only thing they can do is put in small fillings to cover them. Also, my dentist said I wasn't doing a good enough job cupping my teeth with the floss to remove bacteria. So I started cupping my teeth more and noticed that the triangles got bigger! So I stopped flossing completely for two weeks and those black triangles all disappeared!!! Frustrating!!! It was floss that was causing this! I jumped on the internet to look for a floss alternative and found that the American Dental Association states that a strong water flosser is as effective as normal flossing. I purchased this Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 and it's been a great product! The charge lasts a long time, the water output on high is very strong, and it's super easy on the gums (I have sensitive teeth and gums!). I usually have to fill the reservoir twice to do the outside and inside teeth on my upper/lower jaws. Highly recommended to use reverse osmosis or distilled water so you don't have to do any descaling (the process to descale is in the manual). Don't cheap out and buy an off-brand product that's NOT accepted by the American Dental Association. Get one, like this product, that is! ... show more
