    • Buyer beware!
Be careful if you purchase this, if it comes available again. I bought 4 of these at a deep discount from a vendor called All Day Deals 24/7. I thought I might give some away as gifts. I ordered them around the same time but they did not arrive at once. (That's not my issue.) First, they were not Waterfi waterproofed Jawbones. Just regular ones. Two came with a plain white sticker with a computer printed out of barcode that said Waterfi on it, but that seemed a bit suspicious to me. I contacted Waterfi and they said their products will come with a blue sticker on them. No blue sticker. Not on any of these. Waterfi also told me this company was not an authorized vendor. I will say Waterfi's support was excellent and very helpful; if I ever have the cash I won't hesitate buying one of their products from a *real* vendor. Second, one of the boxes had clearly been opened. A few of the boxes seemed like they had been opened previously. Worse: Not one of these Jawbones works properly. I kept hoping the next one would be better, but no. They all have major problems synching, to the point where a few of them can barely connect on first try. I did upgrade the firmware to the latest version provided by the company. I also tried resetting the devices. Charged them fully. I got one to kind of / sort of work, and that one will randomly disconnect and the only way to reconnect it to the phone is to completely reboot the phone. I'm using an Android phone, so I don't know if Apple is better, but still! Considering that the device does not have a display, the only way you know your daily progress is by looking at the phone app - which does not work. The one that does kind of work, with the caveat that I have to reboot the phone each time I want to connect, I have used a bit to track my sleep. That works well. So the tracking seems to be OK, but the synching kills it. At any rate, Amazon has been great helping me with this, they told me to not bother returning. I am going to maybe give some of these to my nieces to wear as bracelets. Otherwise...junk. I think the company got these as returns from somewhere and are reselling them as new.
