I first installed this with one of the washers from my old Berkey sight spout on the inside because this spout does not have a washer for the inside. It leaked like a sieve. I took off the inner washer and installed per instructions, and I have NO leaks. This sight spout is so much better than the old one I had (the shorter one in the foreground of my photo). It is very sturdy and works wonderfully with my Big Berkey on its stand. I installed it so that pulling forward on the spigot does not lock; pushing back on it locks. It's working out great, and the little red level ball is so helpful. Now I just have to figure out where the ball needs to fall to before adding in another full pitcher of water. I need to be able to tell everyone in the household "when the ball falls to here, add in a pitcher of water at the top." Otherwise, we'll have constant overflow messes.... ... show more

The seal could be thicker to make it easier to get it tight enough to not leak, flat on round tank. But, I tightened it as best I could and it didn't leak. Looks beautiful, and works great. Nice to be able to see how much water is left in the tank, so you know how much needs to be added when you need to. Great Quality through out. Berkey and Waterdrop spigot makes a nice set-up. Wife loves how nice it works, and how nicely it fit into our kitchen. ... show more

Bought this for a big burkey. 2.25 gallon. It was nice good quality build the flow out of the nozzle was nice, only returned because the ball never lined up to the water level. Bought the right size. Did the steps but it would never be level. Maybe I got the wrong one but double checked. Also the height being above the dividing line of thr burkey kinda drove me crazy ... show more

Works exactly as expected. Works just fine on the Alexa Pure water filtration system. It's easy to install… just like the original spigot… and the spigot is very solid. It is spring-loaded and the spring is very strong so I don't see this leaking. Definitely recommend.
