I am very please with this product as it coated my piece of furniture well and gave it the golden tone that I was looking for to match the cart to my other dining room furniture. My next step will be to shellac or varnish it to protect the finish and keep it looking nice.

This is the real deal. Watco 65541 Danish Oil Wood Finish, Quart, Light Walnut. This is very easy to apply to a existing furniture or new wood. If you use it on new wood it is best to use wood conditioner before you apply the Watco wood Danish oil finish. The conditioner will give you a more even stain on new wood. The wood finish leaves a glow on older furniture after it dries. I used a 100% cotton baby diaper to apply the Danish oil Use thin coats and don't worry about covering everything the first time. Read the instructions on the container. Let dry 24 hours before you apply a second coat You will like the results My furniture looks like new. ... show more

I made a simple table top bench for the garage, used walnut danish oil then finished with 3 coats of poly. The pine really sucked it up (half a can), where my previous can did 3 cherry tables and still had half a can. I'll be buying more, I really like the color.
