  • Great Game!
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
The game came exactly as described and undamaged. I have been playing this game for a couple days now on my Xbox One X and it is a great game. I had previously played Watch Dogs 2, and this game was similar in many aspects. However, it is a beautiful game with new features and playing with ANY character you encounter is amazing. They have many gadgets and clothing options which I enjoy. I would like to point out that this game does have some gruesome scenes that I was not expecting, but I would still recommend this game for adults. ... show more

  • Good game overall

Good game. Suffers from too much crappus. Can feel tedious at times chasing small things all over. Seems like it didn't know whether it wanted to be a stealth game or a shooter. Maybe that's just me. It's OK but not very memorable.

  • First time for everything
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
What a game, Watch dogs legion is my first watch dogs game entry and it was a blast to play, a futuristic London at your hands to explore, and the fact that you can be anybody from the streets and have them be your main character is such a thrilling idea. Want a spy to be your main character? You can do that. Want to be a random homeless person instead? Go ahead. Beautiful game 10/10 would definitely recommend, good job Ubisoft. ... show more

  • Watchdogs 2 is much better
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
As a Watchdogs 2 fan, I had high hopes for this game. I'm glad that I didn't pay full price. If you haven't played any Watchdogs game yet, get Watchdogs 2 instead. It appears that all of the major bugs on Xbox have been fixed. I'm half-way through the game and I have not experienced any crashes or major glitches. The story itself is also pretty good. It does verge on the unbelievable with respect to the whole corporate-takeover-of-policing bit. So what's wrong with this game? 1) The big selling point of WDL is the ability to "recruit" any NPC as a playable character. Unfortunately, this ends up being just a glorified version of new skins (literally). There is practically no difference among the characters besides the way they look and sound. After a while, certain facial features and voices start to look/sound a bit familiar, but it's nowhere near as repetitive as Skyrim. Some characters have special vehicles or weapons, but that's really the only difference. 2) The NPC/PC character models themselves are ugly. With a few exceptions, these people are just not attractive, and it looks like it's intentional. I understand that most people are not supermodels, but most people also can't sneak into a government building with an invisibility tool and kill everyone with a machine gun. Compare this with a game like Mass Effect where everyone is generally attractive, even the weird aliens. 3) With one exception, your character can only have one tool selected, and once you enter a restricted area, you can't change it. This means that if you find out that you made a bad choice, or if you want to change your play style half-way through a mission, too bad. You have to exit the area to switch. 4) Problem #3 wouldn't be such a big deal if the spider-bot weren't crucial for any mission. You can upgrade your bot to not only knock out any individual within 3 seconds, but also cloak them so that other enemies can't see them. One common way to complete a mission is to send the bot in to knock everyone out (which is real easy if the bot is fully upgraded), and then stroll though as a person and just do whatever you want. In many cases, you can complete the entire mission with just the bot. 5) If you hijack a flying drone, the enemies know it's hijacked within seconds, even if it doesn't do anything. There should be some kind of gameplay where the enemies get suspicious only if the drone isn't where it's supposed to be. 6) There is no repercussion of killing anyone, even civilians. I've killed hundreds of people in this game already, and no one seems to care. Getting away with murder just requires you to leave the area. 7) You can no longer call the police to watch them take out gangs as a distraction. This was a really cool feature of WD2 that I used all the time. In WDL, the gangs and the cops are all on the same side, which is stupid IMHO. 8) There are too many missions where have a machine gun is necessary, but you don't realize it until it's too late. At this point, even though I have a dozen recruited members, only two of them of viable, because they are the only ones who can carry heavy weapons. I found one guy who has a tranquilizer gun, but the gun only has 6 rounds and he was quickly gunned down when a group of thugs suddenly showed up in public and attacked me. Another character has a grenade launcher, but again only 6 rounds and it otherwise useless. 9) Every mission is solo. It would be really cool if I could have mutiple characters stationed in different parts of the building and just switch between them during a mission to compete the objective. 10) You can change a character's clothing, but nothing else about his/her appearance. To top it off, most clothing options are drab. It's like the game is telling me that British people are ugly and have no fashion sense. 11) The map is huge, but 95% of the buildings cannot be entered, so it all that means is that you need to travel more to get anywhere useful. Anyway, that covers most of my complaints. Because of the lack of variety in the characters and loadouts, the game gets very repetitive. ... show more
