Very short lived. I would consider our use of the pump as light, considering the previous, different brand pump lasted over 3 years and this one only lasted about 8 months. Purchased May 2024 and it's Jan 2025. I would consider a better brand or purchase the extended warranty.

I’m using this pump (1 hp) to move clean brook water up a 20 foot hill for watering gardens. I’ve tried about 5 different 1.5 hp pumps, all of which didn’t work nearly as well as this unit. This is the first day of our testing but so far, so good. Will update after a month of use. Pump is quiet, stays cool as water flows around the motor. Even with 150’ of hose on it, flow is excellent. I bought it to use as an effluent pump for my septic system. It was the same size as my previous Sta-Rite pump. Fittings were all the same and I did not need to make any adjustments. Hopefully it will last as long as my Sta-Rite pump did.
