My Nikon D500 does fairly well with battery consumption...since I have used older batteries...the won't hold up very long...game changer...the large Wasabi battery will last for many shots before I have to worry...my next purchase will be a second one!!

1) the camera does not turn in instantly, it takes sometimes 4 seconds to read the battery and start 2) or it doesn’t turn on at all 3) when I turn the camera from portrait to landscape, the camera suddenly turns off, loosing any picture in the buffer 4) I don’t think the charger works with real Nikon batteries well either ... show more

A great bundle that performs like the Nikon originals with my D850. The frames per second increased noticeably when the Wasabi battery was inserted, compared to the EN-EL15a originals I use in my MB-D18 grip. I highly recommend this product as a more reasonably priced alternative to the pricey original Nikon equipment. If you want the 9 FPS, this will do it for you! ... show more

    • Sufficient power for full day of shooting, although the capacity seems dropping a little over time
I worked fine for a few thousand shots without changing the battery. After two moths, the capacity seems dropped a little bit, but it's still good for a full day of shooting. Overall a good buy vs. the original.

    • one of the two batteries did not work in my 850
two batteries for use in Nikon 850 . Both were fully charge but _one works and one does not. the camera just shows not batter at all

Got this and the companion battery to use with the OEM Nikon grip for my d850 I was very skeptical but the possible savings over the Nikon $400 charger plus the Nikon battery made economic sense. Thus far, I am happy with the decision, I am getting 9 fps! I already have the Nikon d500 and used on fast shootings speed for my bird photography. Time on the longetivity of the battery will tell, but 2 weeks into it, works as advertised! ... show more
