Great product! These racks work great for saving space. I have a two car garage with two cars parked in it. I was able to mount both bikes on one wall and swing them out of the way of the cars. Racks are easy to operate and the design is forgiving if you mount them a little higher than suggested. I also like that the tire sits fully in the mount so there's no stress on the rim of the wheels. I was able to mount my heavier e bike and lighter gravel bike. Installation is straightforward and I was able to install by myself, but the racks are a bit heavy so an extra pair of hands for installation might be helpful. ... show more

I have 6 steady racks (4 wide and 2 mtb) and needed another couple more for gravel bikes. I was happy to find the bikepal as a slightly less expensive option. They showed up today and I installed them on my garage bike wall immediately. - Packaging is nice - Installation instruction similar to steady rack except they don't include spacing recommendations. Mine are spaced at 16" between bikes with alternating low and high positions. - The red hinged "landing pad" makes it marginally easier to load bikes than the steady rack. - Product listed as 2.1" max tire width but I included photos of my son's 26"x2.35" tires fitting just fine. - Also included photos with the adjacent steady rack and of a 29"x2.5" tire that doesn't come close to fitting. Overall I'm totally happy with these for my intended use with gravel bikes and narrower trail mountain bikes. ... show more

Very easy to “assemble”, take out of box, read directions on how to mark wall, secure it to a stud with included screws. Bike wheels right into place and fits nicely.

Cycling is a great way to stay in shape and spend time outdoors - and even better with family along. But bikes can take up a lot of space in your garage or even MORE space (by percent at least) in an apartment or condo. These swivel racks are a great way to mount your bikes on the wall - vertically - which saves a ton of floor space. Once mounted, they easily swing to the side (closer to the wall) to save even more space. And when you stack up to 4 bikes (this is after all a 4 pack of the mounts) so that they nestle in with each other, that’s yet more space saved. Brilliant design! I haven’t tried a heavy mountain bike (since I don’t have one) but they hold my road and hybrid / cruiser style bikes just fine - you do want to make sure you put them into a stud of course for maximum holding capacity but aside of locating said stud the mounting is easy - if you’ve hung up anything heavy (shelves, etc.), you can certainly mount this with ease. I imagine they could hold a heavier bike just fine though not sure about some of the REALLY heavy e-bikes - treat that with caution. The metal is good quality - they should prove to be pretty durable over time - and the mounts are easier to load than some others I’ve tried (the sort that go through your wheel) though you do of course have to lift your bike up. Do consider that when choosing how high to put these! So if you have bicycles taking up valuable floor space in your place - garage, house/apartment or otherwise - these are a great way to reclaim some of that space back for other uses. The media could not be loaded. Very good product. Easy to install and use and now I keep my bike up close to the wall. I only have it a 4 Star Rating because I only needed one mount yet it comes in a two pack only which is frustrating. I simply sold the other unit to my friend. Would definitely buy more if I needed too. ... show more
