It’s a clock. It greatly resembles the picture accompanying the link. It keeps time. Well, it doesn’t actually keep time, it displays universally known depictions of specific points on the scale of hours and minutes. By comparing the time shown with previous known depictions, one can calculate the elapsed interval. The same can be accomplished almost as easily with future points on the disk. I’ve hung mine high on the wall in my garage where it is easily visible from the majority of the room. It is quiet. I have needed a new wall clock since giving up the cable box. I either never remembered or they were overpriced for a relatively basic design & size that I was looking for. I wasn’t sure if it was a “too good to be true” deal especially bc it’s metal, a decent size, and eye catching for the color I wanted, so for 50% off it was “iffy” When the clock arrived the box itself looked like a dump truck ran over it but shockingly, it was in its own box that had very sturdy styrofoam packaging all around it & the clock didn’t have a scratch on it. The clock is actually really nice & definitely looks more expensive than what I paid for it after looking at so many other very similar wall clocks, I couldn’t have gotten a better deal. So glad I spent the extra money on the metal wall clock instead of the plastic look-alike. It cost a little more but definitely worth it. It looks better than the photo. It is a thick substantial clock with large readable numbers, and seconds from across the room. The secondhand stands out in red. I like the script type numbers as well as the antiqued backing. I would call this a light, teal or aqua. Definitely darker and more blue than seafoam yet has more green than teal. When trying to decide between the turquoise and teal to see what the color differences were, I noticed that the faces and numbers are different. So happy I chose the turquoise. ... show more
