This was the hardest piece of furniture I've ever had to assemble. It took way too much effort to put this thing together. I dread the day I need to move it or disassemble and reassemble it. It did turn out okay though and looks nice. I had to play with the screw assembly on the doors a couple of times to get them near even. Also, the shelves and legs on the right side of the console lean a bit which they shouldn't. However, this console has held up for the last 6 months and counting with a ton of books, dvds, and a hugh flat screen tv sitting on it. I havent had to move it yet, so not sure how that will do. I do love the look of it, but if I were to need to replace it in the future I wouldnt buy it again. ... show more

I have mixed feelings about this stand. It has a beautiful design and not too difficult to put together. After spending about an hour putting most of it together, I noticed that the top piece was bowing significantly, two of the crossbars had fallen off and had damage to one of he corners. At this point I was extremely frustrated as I did not want to spend another hour taking it apart, putting it back in the box, printing a label and driving all 115lbs of it to UPS. Amazon was understanding and gave me a partial refund as they could not replace the damaged part. What should have taken 90 minutes wound up taking almost 4 hours. I had to reverse the bowing with counter weights, use corner brackets to reinforce the top, and a decorative corner piece to hide the damage. I spent an additional $25 in hardware. (See images). I don’t mind a good project so the experience wasn’t terrible but certainly not for everyone. Maybe I received a defective item or maybe every item top has a bowing or bending to it. You have to be careful putting this together. The instructions are a bit confusing when it comes to right and left sides. We mixed two pieces up and it caused a piece to break. But, the company kindly sent a new piece. Now, if I could just get the doors completely level. All in all, it was a good buy for the cost. ... show more

Love the look of this item. Sadly, both boards are bowed which creates a gap in top and bottom. The doors then do not fit right. Not going through the hassle of deconstructing and returns.

Not the easiest to assemble but once assembled, it looks great. Just have time and patience when you’re going to build this.

In numerous different places of the stand it was broken, or torn, or the wood was chipped away. For a stand that costs $300 it should at least come without any broken parts.

One of the worst products I’ve ever purchased! From bent screws to broken hinges to cracked wood. Doors that don’t fit properly. Please save your your money.

    • Find an alternative!
The top and bottom boards were warped and made it difficult to fit other pieces together. The doors for the cabinet also sit uneven when closed so it doesn’t look to appealing. I would have lived to returned it if it didn’t take me forever to build!
