This was a little tricky to put together, but not the worst thing piece of furniture to complete. The heat works nicely and I love that I can use the aesthetic of the fire without running the heat. Very nice touch! It looks really nice in our room and fits pretty well into the corner. It holds our tv and playstation great. I love the display cases on either side for little trinkets. The only bummer is the magnetic closure piece on one of the displays came separated from the unit and there isn't a way to reattach it (it looks like it was stapled in and a bit of wood glue may have been used). We don't have wood glue and are on a budget so I used a piece of foam padding to keep the door in place until then (see photo). ... show more

After reading some reviews I was a little hesitant, but I’m so glad I bought this!! Everything was included and nothing was damaged in shipping. Assembly was a little time consuming but very straightforward and easy. Everything works perfectly and it looks beautiful. I do have a 65” TV on a tv mount so it looks a little bit oversized for the new stand, but it’s not intended for TV’s that large so expected that. The original price for this was $489. It was on sale for $188 so I bought it. I would have sent it back had I paid the full amount. It is made of particle board and the finish scratches easily. For $188 it is worth the price. It is plenty sturdy, it looks nice, and the fireplace is pretty and the heat is adequate for a smaller room. Some reviews said it was hard to put together and the instructions were not good. I think maybe they hadn't put many things together. I do it more often and found using instructions to be very good. The process is well thought out and goes in a helpful flow. I put it together myself in about 2 hours but I took my time so I didn't make any mistakes. Perfect TV stand with fireplace. Nice finish and shelves. Not that hard to assemble. Had to reach out to the manufacturer because the fireplace flame effect was making a ticking sound. Not sure if I was leaving it on too long? You don't have to have the heater on to enjoy the flame effect which is nice. Either way they sent me a replacement fireplace at no cost to me. The media could not be loaded. 1st: I respect the manner the Amazon delivery was made, I can completely understand why the package was left on the stairwell but I even more appreciate the fact it was placed gently and without being pushed or dropped. The package was still in near perfect condition and thankfully I am a decent sized person who was able to bring it up the rest of the way without much issue. Opened the package to inspect, absolutely no damage to the items inside, which was my biggest worry for an item like this because of size and bulk. 2nd: it does take time and patience to assemble, and BIGGEST KEY is placing items in an orderly fashion and reading the directions completely as intended. Once the small stuff is taken care of, the rest falls into place. Just take you time and it will run pretty smoothly. I can't give a definite time range, I was working on it while doing a other times as well, so it didn't have my complete watch of the clock. Though I have not done anything yet with the cabinet area (that will be my project for tomorrow) it was very simply put together without issue. The only thing I can even possibly note would be only one portion was not sized completely perfect, but that is simply cosmetic and not something I will not lose sleep over. 3: I'm absolutely happy with the look of the item when the fire is running, it truly has a peaceful and calming aura to it, and FYI the heat that comes out it very warm. I tested it out just to make sure it was something I could use without an issue. The items above were kept cool which I am so pleased by but wow, it definitely gives satisfying heat to the front, even though it was a little warmer today than would be expected for this time of year in NY, I think this will do its trick when the colder temperatures come in the upcoming weeks. I am just amazed on how it looks, very peaceful! I love reading books via my amazon fire and this is like doing that with a fireplace in the background without having to worry about starting it up, adding the wood and poking it around. Much easier to assemble than I thought. The instructions are easy to follow. I only had a problem attaching the doors and needed another person to stand it upright because of the angle of the outer shelves and to install the heater. Took about 3 1/2 hours in all. PS I’m an 80+ yr old lady.

The heater functions quite well and is asthetically pleasing. The top of the heating unit arrived dented but I decided to use it anyway due to that piece being covered during installation. The heat “works” but the heat doesn’t blow very far so it has to stay on for a few hours to heat a nice sized room. I only run it for a couple of hours to warm my downstairs area and turn it off for overnight. Installation of the glass door is sort of confusing (#19) because the manual has the installation of the magnet in a different direction than it should be. The glowlight for the fireplace look is amazing. Overall it is worth buying: it is a nice decorative piece, heats a small area adequately, looks nice, tv stand, media center for game consoles, dvd, set top box, etc. ... show more

We purchased this in 2021 but it’s never worked. My husband went to the trouble to put it together only to discover, every time we turn it on, it throws a breaker. We tried various outlets with the same result. An electrician told us the issue was with the fireplace. I regret that we didn’t return it. It did at least function as a tv stand and I really liked the way it looked until one of the doors fell off a few months ago. My husband has declared it unfixable, so now we have a junky stand.
