I have had many greenhouses over the past decade and by now can fairly judge if a greenhouse will hold up. I live in upstate NY where there can be winters with a great amount of snow and wind. Even though I got the greenhouse in the summer, I set it up to have it ready for the Fall. It is easy to set up and I secured it with pavers all around. I do not like cinder blocks. They look bulky. I then place huge grow bags or pots on the pavers for extra strength. This also allows me to use the pots in the summer. I always want a greenhouse with as much ventilation as possible. This one fits the bill and it has a second layer of a screen to keep the bugs and animals out. This is a must. People have to understand that this type of greenhouse cannot compete with one that is a solid structure. If you live in an area of extreme wind or snow, you need to brush off the snow or in a windy area, use extra ties to secure it down. If there is a leak, fix it immediately with tape that is meant for outdoors. Do not wait for the tear to get so big. This greenhouse will last me about 4 to 5 years. I also plant in it in the summer where I take the cover off and throw shade cloth over it to protect my veggies from the harsh summer sun. When the cold weather comes, I just throw the cover on it and my veggies are not killed from the frost. This is a good size and to make sure the zipper does not break, just go easy on opening and closing it. If it does break, I just attach a strip of heavy-duty velcro. It works for me.     • Affordable, well-made, walk-in greenhouse.
My goal is to use this awesome greenhouse during fall and winter to keep a few of my plants warm. I'm going to run an extension cord to a small heater placed inside that's on a timer. The structure also has the extra benefit of providing a barrier between my plants and wildlife. I'm sure it's pretty durable, but I'm going to make sure I clear off any snow ASAP. Everything arrived in excellent condition. I laid the parts out, and did not notice any defects, or damage. Overall, I'm very happy with this affordable greenhouse, and I hope that it lasts many seasons. ... show more
