I ordered these on prime day along with several Echo Dots. They arrived the next day along with the gray Dot we ordered. At first I thought we were going to need to return these mounts. The power plug for the gray Dot got stuck half way in trying to put it in this mount. It took a lot of persistance and multiple people to get it back out again without breaking something. I've seen other reviews mention these not fitting but they seemed to be for units in other countries. We live in Ohio and the Echo came from a warehouse about 3 miles from our house. I decided to wait to return these until our black Dots arrived, which took another 10 days. I'm glad I did. The bricks for the black dots fit absolutely perfectly. No extra space around the brick but it slides in AND back out again smoothly. The Dot fit into it's bracket well. There's plenty of free space around it for the speaker to function. The area in the back for wrapping the cord works great. I can have the entire unit plugged in and up against the wall and it looks sleek, with no extra cord to tape up or have to look at. We have one set up for a plug in our bedroom and one in our kitchen to keep the Dot up off the counter. I'm not sure if the gray unit was manufactured in a different place, or if the bricks are a subtly different size by color? We only ordered one gray that didn't fit and all 3 black units fit great. If you hold the different bricks together I can't even visually see the difference but I guess it's just enough of one to determine if these mounts work or not. I would definitely give these mounts a try. If they work they are awesome. And if they don't work with your particular Dot, returns are easy. ... show more

Love this Alexa holder. Keeps access to the device and looking clean Easy to install, attaches easily and is a nice compact size. Its easy to move around if needed and is great to use pretty much anywhere.

Not that the dot takes up a ton of space, but it is nice to have it up off the counter where it won't get spilled on, pulled on, dropped etc. There were no instructions but if you take a second and look at it, installation should be easy.

I am using this in my workshop plugged into a wall outlet. It holds the Echo perfectly and hides the cable. Gets it off of the work table and does not degrade the function of the Echo. Plastic is thick and it takes some force to install the Echo. But the fit is snug which is a good thing. I would not recommend this if you want to frequently remove the Echo. ... show more
