The videos show that the blades can cut through any soil and loosen it, but it takes more effort to push it down and loosen the soil. This tool may be okay for smaller patches, but it will be very tiring if you want to work on larger patches.

Doesn’t weed well. Doesn’t break the ground well. You’ll need to weed and break ground with something else first and then you can use this tool to do the rest. The handle randomly unscrewed while being used. Not a great value. Not easy to use. Not a great design. But the size is nice if you are short. I wouldn’t recommend. ... show more

    • Good tool to eliminate weeds in garden aisles
At our community garden, the next lot was almost weedless compared to mine, despite my spending hours weeding. This tool was the secret weapon, taking out weeds in the aisles, leaving only close weeding. It is not effortless and provides a good workout. Wish I had found it years ago.
