Easily change the closeness of your cut between guide comb lengths, move the lever up for the closest cut & move it down for a longer cut; allows for easy transitioning of blending & fading. Note: You can reduce the “clatter sound” by adjusting the power screw. The power screw was adjusted for peak efficiency before leaving the factory. However, if voltage in your home is too high or low; the clipper power screw may need adjustment. ADJUST POWER SCREW TO REDUCE CLIPPER NOISE (excessive clattering): 1. Turn your clipper “On”. Use the end of the cleaning brush or a screwdriver to turn power screw in a clockwise direction until you hear a noise. 2. Then, slowly turn power screw in a counterclockwise direction, just until noise stops. 3. Once Noise stops continue turning the screw 1/4 turn counterclockwise. This is the maximum power setting. We test our clippers for cutting performance prior to packaging with a hygienic fiber. We do our best to clean the product to remove any testing particles, but it is possible a few may remain.
