I purchased this last year. Right out of the box, it worked as described. Comfortable. Ergonomic. Easy to use. Minimalist. I enjoyed gaming with it until I lost the gamepad (moved). This year, I contacted the seller and told them the truth (I misplaced it due to a move). The return window had already closed on Amazon. It took contacting them a second time as a follow-up on the first message, but they responded swiftly to the second message and asked whether I wanted a refund or a replacement.     • Pretty good for the price.
I've had this controller for about 10 months. It worked pretty well for 9, not as good as the name brand xbow version. The buttons are louder and they started to wear out to the point where its getting almost impossible to use. A button (I use it a lot for Streets of Rage 4) sticks pretty bad. Good as a back up for sure but my XBOX official controller still feels as tight as it did when I bought it 5+ years ago so I'm going back to it. ... show more

    • Must manually turn on console every time
I don't know if I'm missing something, but I can't find any support or help online about it. I am using this with an XBOX 360. The adapter is plugged in, and works but I have to already have the XBOX on every time to use the controller. I can't seem to find a way to turn on the console via the controller itself. In addition, the instructions mention the adapter having a light to pair with the console and controller, but there is no such thing. ... show more

I was skeptical about the lower cost of this controller (vs an OEM Microsoft XBox controller). But I was pleasantly surprised by how close this controller looks/feels to the original product! Take a look at the pictures. The top item is the W&O controller, the bottom item is the OEM Microsoft controller. Control surfaces, buttons, joysticks all feel VERY similar to the OEM product (almost to the point where I can't differentiate them after a few minutes of usage). I am not a hardcore gamer by any means, so perhaps to someone who uses XBox controllers for longer periods there may be a subtle difference. But for a casual gamer, I think this is a fantastic solution to replace an OEM product at a substantial savings. Interestingly, the battery compartment for the OEM controller fits perfectly for the W&O controller. The only thing that I may quibble about is that I need to plug in a wireless dongle into my XBox to receive a signal from the controller. That means that pressing the silver center XBox button on the controller will NOT turn on the XBox. Is that an issue? Nope. I can easily turn on the XBox from the console, so I don't see this as an issue. I told my kids that we had a new controller, and they both wanted to use the new controller. A few minutes later, they couldn't tell the difference between the W&O vs the OEM. Haha! Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Good value, missing the mark in the tiniest way.
Perhaps I'm being a bit nitpicky, but this looks and feels like a 360 controller. It just doesn't really play like one. Something about the movement in the sticks and the button vibration just isn't the same. At the end of the day, it serves its intended purpose masterfully, just was noticeably different when playing than I'm used to or than I expected. Just plugged it into my PC and it worked. Was a bit worried about the battery life but it's been many months now and am still using the same batteries. I'm not a super heavy user though.

    • Can’t complain for what you get
So far I’m loving this controller. The buttons are clicky which is a plus in my book. Haven’t had any issues connecting it or having it stay connected. Doesn’t seem to drain the batteries excessively or anything. Obviously it feels cheaper than a brand Xbox 360 controller, but it functions great. I do wish it had a little more weight to it, but overall it’s a solid purchase. This was meant to be a meantime controller till I can buy a few original ones, but I think I’ll buy another. ... show more
