I was faced with the project you see on my workbench. It will be a free-standing frame to support my RC airplanes. One completed frame supports a total of 15 medium size planes with support brackets on both sides. You can see how these right angle clamps are rigidly supporting the entire frame prior to snstalling two 3 1/2 screws at each corner. The close-up photo #2 clearly shows how the clamps work. Note that they are designed such that the two screws can be scewed in place through main frame and into the cross piece. And they are eminently adjustable and strong, and all corners are perfectly square. With the 4 right angle clamps in place and before any screws were installed I could pick up the entire frame as shown on my workbench and not one piece of wood moved. These same right angle clamps were used to clamp diagonal braces in place. I simply unscrewed the locking bracket, put the angular support in place, tightened it down and they were screwed in place. Every piece of wood you see on the 4th photo was easily and accurately installed with the help of my 2 sets of amazing right angle clamps. One of the best woodworking tools I've ever owned and the price is far less than what it's worth. Thanks Amazon for making my day. ... show more

I really like the ease of using this tool. Makes getting a perfectly square corner a breeze. Works with standard dimensional lumber up to 3 1/2” (2x4) face, but not on rough cut lumber. Rough cut is slightly too wide to be able to lay it into the tool on the face of the board, but works fine for the edges. Takes all of the guesswork and speed square needs out of the equation, while still lining up the 90° corner perfectly. ... show more

Every spring I build Gardnen containers , by using these clamps to hold it all together in order to add then braces & screws , because they are sturdy & strong I need not disturb the wife asking her to come out to the garage & spend time holding them herself ( possibly burning my supper)) now she can do her thing & I can do mine … so ..they are worth every penny ..just remember buy 4 … ... show more

This corner clamp allows a tighter clamp, easier to put in screws, nails, staples, brads, glue, etc., and works great with different wood thicknesses. These are inside corner braces. I wanted to use them to make boxes for beehives, which are roughly 20" x 15". Anything less than a 24" x 24" box means you can't make an entire four corner box at a time. I give it 3 stars because they are well built, and for larger projects would work great.
