I have had the blade installed in my 8 1/4 inch Delta power miterbox for a couple of months and it has seen a fair amount of use. It cuts through solid oak 3 1/4 inch floor boards and leaves a very smooth and clean cut. It has also been used for pine molding for around door openings. It gives the same clean and sharp cut for the mitered corner edges as the couple of places where I had to butt two straight-cut ends together. So far, for the purpose intended, it has done well with both soft and hard wood. This blade was built for making clean crosscuts in soft and hard wood and it does that well. I have not used it for structural lumber (2x4's and similar), but I anticipate that it would work fine there as well. ... show more

    • good performance at a reasonable price
I like the clean cut given by this blade on both hard and soft wood. The blade also provides very fast cuts without splintering the wood. I did find the blade somewhat more noisy than a 40 tooth blade. The blade also gives clean cuts on plastic sheet without over heating.
