  • Great blade, affordable price. 7/8" to 5/8" arbor adapter is included.
I bought these blades to use on a cheaper wet saw I had. I am replacing the tiling round my fireplace. I am laying 12" marble tile. These blades come with a brass fitting so you can use on a 5/8" or 7/8" arbor. That was very useful. I cut very slowly and these blades were unbelievable. I had purchased two of these Dewalt blades, an MK (159402 MK-99) blade and a Concord blade (CTN045A10SP); but used neither of the other two. This Dewalt blade is awesome, and I'll use these for my next job(s). The cuts were straight, and I saw no chipping on the end of the tiles. To avoid the end of the cut chipping I did one of two things; 1) butted a scrap tile up to the tile I was cutting so the blade cut right into the next piece or 2) made a small 1" cut on one side, flipped the tile over and then made the long cut, and when the long cut met the first 1" cut it cleanly broke through. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Great for cutting slate stone tiles
I bought this to help with a bathroom project requiring cutting slate stone tiles using an angle grinder. After watching some youtube videos, I ended up buying some additional protective equipment. Goggles, a protective face mask, and thick gloves. And a dust mask. The blade worked extremely well, cutting through the slate easily. The process generates a LOT of dust! But the blade itself was excellent for the job. ... show more

  • Works great cutting ceramic tile
I bought this blade to use with my angle grinder for cutting ceramic subway tiles. It cut through the tiles like butter with nice clean edges for the most part. Any edges that were rough, I sanded with a file.

  • I am cutting porcelain tiles with an angle grinder and it does a beautiful job. Porcelain is very dense
This blade is the only one I could find through Amazon, Home Depot, or Lowes that would cut PORCELAIN tile. Note: I eventually tracked it down because it is listed as Porclean (sp) instead of correct spelling of porcelain. I am cutting porcelain tiles with an angle grinder and it does a beautiful job. Porcelain is very dense, extremely hard, but running the angle grinder across the 1/4" tile at about 1/2" depth s-l-o-w-l-y gives a nice clean cut even on long 24" long wood-like plank tiles. We used a turkey baster to wet the blade from time to time to keep it from overheating. It was much easier to manage than a wet saw large enough to cut a 24" length. ... show more

  • Works well but grinders just weren't meant for finish cuts
It definitely cuts tiles. It's high quality but there are things you should consider: - had to pass over my cuts 4 times to cut through porcelain tile. - it leaves small chips in the tile along the cut (wet or Dry). that's ok for edges that will be covered under a baseboard but if your cut-side is going to be exposed, it will not look good. It was really handy to cut the toilet hole drain out of the center of a tile. ... show more

  • Dewalt 4 1/2" Porcelain tile blade
Have not used it yet but have installed it on tool. Blade runs true and am hoping it lives up to its write ups. Will reevaluate if performance is not what I expect.

  • Excellent blade for tile work
I had a fairly large tile job, my first ever, to do in my home. I primarily used a full-size tile saw for all the big cuts and used this blade in my angle grinder for the smaller cuts. I also used it to rough cut bullnose edges which I then smoothed into final shape with 4" diamond pads (from Amazon) on a variable speed air angle grinder. I was totally pleased with this Dewalt blade. I also cut thru dense, hard concrete flooring with this blade in order to relocate the shower drain. It cut the concrete like it was made of butter. I also used Dewalt 10" diamond blades on the full-size saw, but I ended up having to buy two of them to complete the job. ... show more

  • Cuts like buttah!
I had been buying odds and ends and tips for my dremel because I had to do just a small cut. What a waste. Got this blade and put in on my Ryobi 4.5" angle grinder and I was done within minutes. Great blade worth the price. I should learn to not go on the cheap sometimes, but happy I have this blade now in my repetoir! Definitely recommend and would purchase again. ... show more
