This facial cover did not come with instructions on how to put it on, but I figured it out after a moment that it requires to attach the elastic straps to the original facial covering. The cloth is comfortable most definitely and I like it. It is easy to remove and wash but it can definitely cause the user to sweat a little more depending on what you are playing. ... show more

The price is very fair when you take in account that the cloth is thick and doubled and the specifications to make it fit EXACTLY where needed for the Valve Index. Excellent workmanship. Reading some of the reviews about concern of sweat going through the cotton cloth (even though it is double layers), I decided to get the silicone VR cover shown in the first picture. That way any seepage of sweat from the cotton cloth would not reach the original foam. Being allergic to silicone - causes a terrible rash across my nose and on my cheeks - I then added the cotton VR cover. First mistake I made was putting the cotton VR cover on the headset without washing it. I am not allergic to cotton, but forgot about the finishing used on fabric. Washing the cotton VR Cover is necessary for me. The second photo shows the cotton VR cover laying in the position to start putting it on. The third photo shows the large center band set in place. The fourth picture shows the 2 small bands on each of the magnetized posts. The fifth (and last) photo shows the view of the VR Cover ready to place onto the headset. I found the cotton VR covers to be very comfortable while I play my VR games, and especially for my daily "workout" with SynthRiders when I really sweat. So that I don't have to wash the cotton VR covers so often, I plan to purchase more of them so that I can wash them all once a week. Again I want to emphasize that the workmanship is worth the price. Overall very happy with these. They fit the Index's face gasket perfectly, are easy to put on and stay on well, and can simply be tossed in the laundry to easily clean. They're soft to the touch, not scratchy like I was afraid they'd be. They get a little warm after a little while, but not too much moreso than stock. ... show more

I don't ever write reviews, this one had to be written. I have an Index, people on this review board are like "it don't fit index" IT DOES. But I think for ANY headset this is a Band-Aid solution and NOT a cure. Manufacturer was OBVIOUSLY trying to save money with this product, it's mediocre at best. IT WORKS but I'd save up and just buy a new faceplate or whatever. Definitely going to use my moneys worth of them but I won't buy them again. 6 outta 10. ... show more

    • Fits and works well.
I bought these for my Index and the fitment is great, the only "complaint" I have is that the elastic strap that goes around the headband is a little tricky to pull through the gap in the index face plate. But a Pair of tweezers resolves that issue.

    • Works great on the stock foam. Very snug on the VR Cover foam
Simple to install and fits great on the stock foam. However it is very snug on the VR Cover foam replacement kit and I wish they either made one to fit those or made this one a little more universal.
