The media could not be loaded. The VPB1 Smart Watch by VPSTAY is one of over 20 smart watches that I am reviewing. For a rectangle-style watch, it packs in most of the features available in larger smart watches. Let's go over them in some detail so you know what you can expect from this fitness tracker! The pricing for this watch means that the packaging is minimal. A simple box comes with a plastic insert that holds the User Guide, power cable, and watch. The watch powers on easily. One particular dial design was the winner for me - it includes a LOT of the data that the watch collects in a pleasing layout with vibrant colors. Once the main screen is lit, swipe up from the bottom for the message display. Swiping left displays the screens for bio tracking data, heart rate, sleep, weather, media play on your phone, then all the various exercise options. Swiping down from the top of the main screen brings up a mini-menu to quickly access certain functions. Swiping to the right displays the main menu functions that provide access to the bio tracking functions. At the bottom of the menu is the System Settings selection. One of the items is the Watch Face Switch option that presents a small selection of dials to choose from. Other dials faces can be accessed through the phone app. A few details about this watch: it has a 1.47" diagonal screen with 172x320 pixels, displays a significant portion of text messages, has IP68 rating, (the IP68 rating means that the watch is completely dustproof and can withstand being submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes), comes with a 1-year warranty, one-pulse vibration for text notifications, 160 mAh battery with GREAT battery life, alarms are set from the app with a 3-pulse alarm (no audio), the watch connects with the phone app automatically and quickly, and... an email address is provided in the User Guide for help with support! There is a lot more to see in the video I posted above where I show additional screens in the watch and then jump in the phone app and share some of the screens there, plus a glide through ALL the current dial options. This is an important point to make, that finding a couple of dial options that you like for your watch can really add to the enjoyment of wearing it. Each watch manufacturer offers different watch faces based upon the screen sizes of their watches. Also, the phone app for this watch is on the Play Store as the "Anyloop" app . You can download it and explore some of the app features without connecting a watch. The watch interface looks very similar to the FitCloudPro app, with many of the same screens and menu layouts. For the price of this watch, it is really a solid hit! It doesn't connect to phone calls, but it does alert for incoming messages and displays much of the text. I am very pleased with this watch. I love the blue color of the band so it matches most everything I wear. I like the small design so it's not bulky on my wrist, but the screen is big enough to see what you need to see on it. I got it to track my sleep, because I am tired all of the time and wanted to see if it was my sleep. But it has so many other features that are great. It tracks your steps, alarm, find your phone feature, music, oxygen level, heart rate, check your messages, notify of a phone call, do not disturb mode. The notifications has been so helpful, if my phone is away from me in another room the watch will vibrate if I get a phone call or message so I know to go get my phone. I like the app and it syncs with the watch reliably. My only issue is I wish there was more explanation on the sleep tracker, since that was the main reason I got it. It gives you a score for each sleep, tells you how much deep and light sleep you got, but it doesn't explain the reasoning for the score. So I'm still not really sure why my sleep isn't "good". I usually get between 72 and 80, but I don't know what the differences are that makes that score. I am really pleased with the price of this watch for all of the features you get, and so glad I purchased it. ... show more

    • Good Watch - Tricky IOS App with Watch Face Bug
I like this watch so far! I had issues setting the watch face through the IOS anyloop app initially. Anytime I tapped on a new watch face there was no install button, only a fake button that says "current watch face". But I found a trick that worked for me: 1. Go to watch face store in the anyloop app 2. select the photo watch face, use any random photo, it will only be temporary 3. hit install 4. then go back to the store and select the watch face you actually want, the install button should now be there. 5. hit install It's annoying that I have to go through this loop every time I want to try a new watch face but hopefully they will fix this bug in the app. ... show more
