Used this rope for "Aider Steps" & "rope mod" ladder attachment for climbing sticks to ascend trees for hunting. Low to little stretch.. somewhat stiff, but that comes along with low stretch. Would buy again...

Be sure to understand different rope types before you buy and make sure you get the type you need, otherwise you may be endangering yourself. With that said this will work for for what I need it for. I got this and was nicely surprised to see it is better than I expected. I have not had the chance to actually use it yet but the quality looks really good and it's looks exactly like the pictures and included the carabiners (but I wouldn't trust it for true climbing as they're not rated). I bought this rope to practice tying knots and belaying as a new rock climber, with no intention of using this rope to actually climb. It's a good thing I didn't have such an intention, because this rope is extremely stiff and will not move through most belay devices. I'm sure it has other good uses but climbing is not one of them. ... show more
