These are very comfortable boots that look great. I plan to wear them for work ( business casual modern office dress code) along with other casual applications. These boots are also nice and light. UPDATED: What was discovered is that these shoes have a very large toe box, in fact so large, they feel a 1/2 size larger because of the extended toe. I like the shoe and bought a 1/2 size smaller, this turned out to be a much better fit for me. The angle of entrance to get into the shoe and the type of lacing create a different approach to "getting your shoes on" BUT, they are comfortable, and stylish and well worth the money. I usually buy Sketcher Shoes but couldn't find my favorite model anywhere in my size, 10.5, so what the heck, I'll try these! Cheaper too, so I didn't expect much... they have a roomy wider than normal toe box and decent support plus they look great! As far as waterproof? Longevity? I don't know. But for now, I'm very pleased, and they are what I needed. ... show more
