Bought this to spray water based polyurethane and lacquer, and it works great for this. Material is atomized nicely and sprays evenly. It's a little bulky for spraying small stuff and getting into smaller areas (like cabinet interiors). The value proposition for the utility of this is incredible. It would be great if it had a way to dial down the airflow for smaller pieces and really thin material, but I can understand why that's not included at this price point. ... show more

I thought I would be buying this as a quick temporary fix for my need for a cheap sprayer, but this thing works well. I thought this was just a cheap intro into paint spraying, but its affordable, easy to clean, has plenty of power, and you can easily get additional paint containers or whole front end if you waited to long to clean it. This sprayer was my first so it took some getting used to but after the first couple of times I was happy. One thing I didn’t like was the paint holder size is a little wide at the base and I kept hitting it into the boards I was painting.

This was my 1st paint sprayer purchase so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. The reviews are accurate! It's very easy to use, and I followed the directions and had very good results. I purchased additional paint containers to all me to switch colors easily and that helped me finish my project quickly. Would definitely recommend for the novice DIYer. I bought this for an additional bucket. Above the trigger, out of the two little “holes” it leaks like crazy. Gets paint all over my hands and the floor. Does not happen with the original one.

    • Just what you need to keep the sprayer nozzles clean
To clean the nozzles on the paint sprayer this fits, you really need a second canister with soapy water or solvent to switch to after spraying so you can spray water of solvent through to clean it. This solves that problem. The extra nozzles are great for backup should the ones that come with the sprayer get worn or damaged. I suppose they provided a second spray head as for spraying different materials but I just wanted the second canister. ... show more

    • It had a leak in mounting area. Damaged my sprayer
I bought the sprayer a month ago. I used it once, but it was very difficult to clean after painting. So I just bought this replacement. However, this had a leak next to the mounting area and paint went into the motor of the sprayer causing the sprayer to stop.
