This gauge can read from a standard car tire to a heavy truck or trailer tire accurately. It holds pressure and the bleed valve works well. The illumination doesn’t use tritium and has to be charged with a flashlight for use but that should be expected from the price. I was surprised at the quality of the gage. It’s well built and sturdy. Easy to see the tire pressure and appears to be accurate. Originally bought a pencil gage and it was crap. I have bought a second one of these, after being very pleased with the first purchase. Nice ergonomics. The rubber "tire" around the gauge makes it easy to hold and provides protection if you drop it. Unlike some other gauges I have used, this one gives a nice seal over the tire valve when I hold it in place. I also like that it holds the reading after you remove it from the tire valve. The little button can be used to release the pressure and "zero" the gauge after you have read it. I love simple products that are well designed for ease of use. ... show more

I previously used those pencil tire pressure guages and they were not reliable. Thus far, this guage is easy to use. I like the fact that the tip is able to swivel to get into an area where the tire valve is difficult to reach and that it holds the pressure until you press the release button.
