There are literally dozens of these small jump starters offered on Amazon. Although the technology is pretty similar across the spectrum of offerings, this unit seems to offer a good compromise of capacity, capability and ease of use at its price point. You need to do your research before making a buying decision to avoid any disappointment. This unit seems a good choice for occasional use in temperate climates, provided one is diligent in keeping it fully charged and ready for use. If you live in an extremely harsh environment you may be better served by spending more to acquire a unit with greater charge storage capability. If you have a very large vehicle, or one with known electrical problems, you may wish to chose a unit with a greater amperage capability. Likewise if you are looking for something to use on a frequent or daily basis. But for most applications, the Voltsurge devise should serve you well. The competitive advantage offered by this unit is the customer service offered by the Seller, which is excellent. In my opinion, and based on my experience, if you do have an issue with the Voltsurge, it is unlikely that you will find yourself holding a useless brick - the Seller gives every indication of a willingness to work with the customer to resolve any problems associated with use of the device. unbelievably strong. starts my silverado with ease. it is kind of weird when connecting to battery not very clear when it is connected. have to reconnect to terminals a few times to get it to put out power. good battery life ive started my truck a few times on 1 charge.
