This was delivered last night and upon opening I first plugged in the charger and both batteries were fully charged before I had the unit assembled. Today I used it the first time. I cleared our 25’ sidewalk, our 24x80’ driveway and the 20X20’ turnaround in about 45 minutes. The snow was between 4&6” deep and out at the street there was a bunch of packed ice from the snowplow. I won’t normally use it for that but it did alright. Afterward it took a little over an hour to recharge the batteries. Only problem was with parts. There were supposed to be 4 screws with it- 3 black ones and 1 silver. I only had 2 of the black ones but fortunately I found one in my ‘spare parts’ jar that worked fine. ... show more

There are still mounds of remnants of this winter storm of 2025. So I got this snow blower because the snow shovel just isn't cutting it anymore. I love that it is cordless and gasless. And it cut right through the snow that's been sitting there for 3 weeks already and has already got ice in it. It actually cut right through the ice and threw that right along with the snow. The direction sheet is kind of small and a little difficult to follow but I figured it out got it put together and it starts right up and works perfectly. Maneuvers easily. I think it's great value for the money, lightweight so it doesn't break your back and the fact that it comes with two batteries means you get twice the length. I haven't used it all the way yet cuz it's too cold but I will update as the season goes on. For now, I love it! ... show more

My first blower purchase after extensive research blog and rating reviews. Each snow is different with moisture consistency / fluffy vs. wet. My 3" wet snow was heavy and dense consistency. Voltrex plowed 3.5 two-car driveways + sidewalks on first charge!! Awesome. Recharge 1.50min on one and 2 hrs on second battery. Don't know why the difference, but acceptable. Quick change chute direction a snap to turn around! All my neighbors were in awe of this workhorse. I seriously can't see it clearing 10" and again would have to push it. Remember, you have to PUSH any blower thru the snow. I wish you could turn off the light to save battery, but that's a nit pick. Lightweight & fits thry doorways. Highly recommended 4.5 Voltrex. No directions on battery use. I would not leave Lithium battery unattended charging overnight for any electric brand machine. My wife had so much fun using it, I barely got a chance! ... show more

This is a good set if you use a Voltask 24 volt snow shovel. Since this is from the original company, it fits perfectly and you have peace of mind it's the real deal. The battery is sturdy and charges well. Especially with how much power kicking snow takes, one battery may not last you enough to do your whole house, especially if you're clearing a big driveway. So having a backup battery is very helpful, as expected this came in very handy when we got snow lately. And with how expensive batteries can be these days, this price from the original company is pretty nice. Good set if you use Voltask ... show more
