    • Very Effective on my hands and wrists
My husband and I both use this product. We have for over 2 years. Up until very recently it was by prescription only. Our insurance balked every time we went to refill it. They would eventually cover it but it was a hassle. We are relieved to see it is now over the counter. The odor of this ointment is medicinal and fades very quickly. I REACT to fragrances but this brand does not bother me at all. It is the identical to what we were using by prescription. There is another brand out there that has a very strong odor that does not fade so just beware. I use the ointment once a day, my husband twice a day. You can use it up to 3 times per day. My hands used to swell and stiffen up over night. I had to take time every morning to massage and loosen up my hands. Using this product regularly, I do not have that issue at all. I will stress, you need to use this product consistently. My husband tried to use it only when the pain in his hands was severe. It did not seem to help him much. I pushed on him hard to use it regularly. He puts it on morning and evening now. His pain is decreased by approx. 75% and the swelling is gone. I only have to use it in the evenings to get the relief I need. I am an intensive care nurse. I see a lot of arthritis in my patients. This product has an excellent safety profile and is effective in majority of people when used correctly. You can use this ointment on any joint. We just happen to both need it on our hands and wrists. Please follow the directions and do inform your doctor the next time you have an appointment so they put it on your medication list.     • The Best cream ever for inflammation
I actually bought this cream for my husband to use on his tennis elbow, but he was skeptical so hasn't tried it yet. The top of my left foot would just ack for no reason. I would message the area, but I wouldn't find a sore spot to pinpoint the area exactly. So I thought, could it be arthritis (aka inflammation)... I decided to try it on my sore left foot. I was so surprised that after the 4th day of putting it on, once in the AM and again in the PM before bed, my foot stopped hurting. I did it for a couple more days, then stopped. The pain has not returned... so I am pain free now. My Husband has decided to start using it now. Remember, It might take a couple of days/weeks for it to start to work. It’s a light smelling non-oily topical gel/cream that has to be absorbed into your skin leaving behind a slight tack that fades within minutes. Over time, it builds up strength the more you use it.     • Worked Well For Me Almost Immediately But Not Happy About Smell
Based on other reviews, I expected to have to wait at least a few days to see any real relief from this product. I got relief almost immediately. I use it on my knees which had been killing me prior to using this. Now there is hardly any pain.. even when getting out of chairs or climbing stairs. My only complaint is that some reviews said it had no odor.. and it definitely does. It's a medicinal smell which makes me think I wouldn't use it if I was going out, especially in a dress. It says you can use it 4 times a day, so far I usually use it 3 times a day, after my morning shower, in late afternoon and before bed. Love it. ... show more

My kidneys are such that I cannot use NSAIDS for pain relief. The product works great, but contains NSAIDS and my kidney functions were adversely affected.
