This item came unpackaged with a huge address sticker affixed directly to the box, which is a bummer if you want to give it as a Christmas gift. Other than that (which is the shipper's fault, not the product's), this headband kit will provide lots of fun for girls age 5 to 8. My girls have long hair and love to wear cute headbands. They'll really enjoy making their own decorated ones. The headbands themselves are satin feeling, and light weight, very comfortable to wear. In fact I "stole" a couple for my personal use! There are still plenty left for crafting though. The pom poms shown in my picture have little loops that slide on the band. Some other pieces I think are too large to stay glued to a thin band, but we'll see. There are ribbons, sparkly fabric, sticky gems, flowers, butterflies, everything little girls love. I'm looking forward to at least one fun afternoon with the girls working on this project! ... show more

This is a fun, engaging and creative gift for little girls - the headbands have satin covers and are soft and of pretty colors - a lot of different decorations are included, together with double sided glue stickers, some ribbon and glue tape for attaching the little flowers and other decorative pieces to the bands - smaller kids will probably need help to attach the pieces securely. ... show more

Honestly it's pretty cheap but good for kids who forget about their stuff quickly lol. Really like that it came with glue dots instead of other types of glue that might take awhile to dry. It's much easier for a bigger range of ages to make these headbands.

    • Fun activity for a few hours.
My daughter saw this and asked me to get it for her. Upon arrival - she got right to work. It could use better instructions, but it was fun for a couple of hours. There was enough for her to make "one for each friend" and she can't wait to hand them out at school once everything sets and dries.

This is such a great kit for ALL ages. A while back my daughter hosted a "headband party" play date and it was a huge hit! This kit would be perfect for it. The headbands are great quality and I love the variety of choices!
