To fix it go under your panel on the left there's a afs box that should be teal color box, just unplug it then your headlight error will be gone after start up.

I ordered this to replace my 2008 AWD IS250 headlight assembly lamps where the plastics are pretty much yellow and even after using one of those headlight cleaners/clearers. The product came in and had it professionally installed. It came out really good but forewarn that it is not fully fitting. there will be some gaps on some parts and I won't recommend forcing it. Otherwise you may crack the plastic housing. The headlight provided a very unique look unlike any other one out there. I love the LED look and the check mark running lights. The headlight checkmark run on daylight and also two of the LED will also run on daytime running light. But it flickers (a really fast one) due to lower voltage. The flicker itself really doesn't bother me too much and to me i thought its pretty cool when running it during daytime. You can however turn off your daylight via toyota tech stream software that you can run on windows with your laptop. Originally I would have given it a 4 stars until I had contacted their support. The issue for me was that the passenger side of the headlight...i noticed that there was a white plastic inside the headlight unit where the otherside didn't have it. It was definitely a manufacturing defect. At first I was thinking to let it be but I keep seeing it and also preventing me from adjusting the headlight up/down. So i had contacted the Vland support to help out. Their support was topnotch and I sent them the picture of the issue. Nini the person that helped me out took care of me. Had formed up a replacement for that side of the headlight and came all out of his/her way to replace it for me where the shipping was coming from China. It took almost a month to get the replacement but it was so worth it. Once I got it, I replaced it and voila!!! I can now adjust the light height! All in all, thanks to Vland support and Nini for getting all these sorted out. That's when I gave it a 5 stars. I get a lot of compliments on my Lexus and how unique the headlight is. ... show more

    • Pleased it was truly “plug & play” for my 2007 IS250.

Truly plug & play. None of the issues I was worried about (ie. High beam flicker, having to take it to Lexus to adapt for the DLRs) were an issue. I have been driving with them now for 2-3 weeks…low beams are very bright & I get flashed here and there from other drivers but the visibility is great. The DLR’s are sexy & the initial blue glow when starting up is a cool accent. Very pleased! One thing to note is you’ll need to cut a notch in your fuse cover to allow one of the adaptive wires from the headlights to be installed. Also, the response time of the high beams is a little delayed for some reason, which I only noticed when trying to rapid flash other drivers that are driving with no headlights on( but once adjusting doing such works amazing for getting those drivers to fix their mistake because the high beams are BRIGHT AF) ... show more

Honest review: The install was fairly simple. I found that it was possible to install them with only taking the bumper half way off, this made the process pretty easy and I had it all done within an hour and a half. Having installed them 3 weeks ago, I have yet to have any problems. No moisture, no electrical problems. The headlights aren’t the brightest but if you spend your time and angle them correctly it’s pretty fair visibility, I’d estimate about 50 yards. They look amazing and I’d highly recommend this if your looking for a more updated look. The sequential indicators add a lot of uniqueness. My only problem. The brights. They seem to only illuminate the middle of the road, above the headlight line. I’m not sure if it’s a manufacturer error or that’s how they are intended to be, I couldn’t find any adjusters on the headlights to angle them down. Overall I’d say it’s well worth the purchase if your in the market for some new headlights. ... show more

    • Do not buy if car came native with halogen headlights

I have a 2007 Lexus IS250. I bought this last year in May and initially, I was excited about them. However, a few issues arose immediately: * When lights are set to auto and car is in drive, the DRL (daytime running lights) kicks in and causes lights to flicker. We worked around this problem by never using the “auto” feature, thus not using the DRL. * Additionally, the bottom fog lights became dim, then stopped working. Fast forward, one day past a year since I purchased the lights, the left side fully went out. Because I was one day past the year purchase mark, the lights were not under support. I emailed Vland and they confirmed that they cannot replace or refund. Solution: Look for headlight assembly that has “halogen only” specified in the title and find the one you like. Typically, they may still have some fancy features (e.g LED strip), but the main headlights will be halogen. It is nice because at least the halogens will be replaceable if they burn out. Later on, you can still get a wiring to convert halogen to LED. ... show more

I’m being completely honest with this review. The headlights itself are beautiful totally worth the price. Really makes the car look completely different. It adds more of a newer sporty look. I really do like them a lot. However the seal on the headlights isn’t that good. Also at night the clarity of the lights are bright, better than stock but do need to be adjusted so that it is centered. I would 100% recommend the VLAND headlights + taillights for this IS gen Lexus. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. DO NOT FORGET TO TRANSFER OEM HEADLIGHT MOUNTING HARDWARE TO NEW VLANDS!!! There’s a really good video online by “NK Autos” for both IS 250,350 and F. Helped out a ton. You do need to dremel a little hole into the right hand side fusebox to let the DRL wires attach and allow the fusebox lid to close properly. Don’t forget your bottom 8 10mil nuts! ... show more
