This headlight is very well made. It’s sturdy and fits perfectly. It’s plug and play with the adapter for the led DRL. The led are very bright and not dull like others. The sequential turn signals looks good but are outshined by the DRL since they stay on constantly. I’m not sure if they toggle on and off as you can with OEM DRL. The lights itself are easy to install but for my GEN3 MK6 I have to remove my front bumper so the lights can go in. Not too hard to do but set a couple of hours aside to go through the whole process and to adjust the headlights according to your car. I also had Led headlight bulbs so I had to transfer my headlight adapters so they can secure in the housing. Overall they work great and makes the car stand out amongst other GLIs with stock lights. Overall best aftermarket headlights I’ve owned for my mk6.5 VW Jetta. Couple of things to consider. They aren’t a perfect fit, took about two hours of fiddling to get them to fit well. Also, once installed you basically don’t have high beams. You only have one bulb in the headlight... so buy the brightest LED you can. There is tons of room inside the headlight housing so no worries when buying an LED bulb with attached driver. Two other criticisms I have is that the DRLs could be a bit brighter and the adjustment screws are nearly impossible to reach once the lights are installed. I posted a picture of the car in harsh bright sunlight so you can see what the DRL actually looks like. One last good note.. no fogging issues in cold weather. ... show more

Definitely cheaply made. Both headlight assembly had things wrong wrong with them. The passenger light had two half way broken adjustment clips, a missing screw from the outer side of the housing. And on the driver side, the dlr would light up and the projector adjustment screws were broken. Have already made a refund request, so we'll see how that goes. Wouldn't recommend these to anyone. ... show more

The lights look amazing however it doesn’t seem to get brighter with turning the brights on and I have yet to figure out why. It says nothing about needing another bulb in there for the high beam since it’s demon eye. But it stays the same and is hard to see at night. Some help would be amazing

Overall a pretty nice light. Didn’t fit quite as well as factory, but pretty close. Quality seems nice. No issues with installation. Plug and play with the included wiring harness. Headlight bulbs clipped in very secure. The back protector cap is a little difficult to lock/unlock. Could have been a better design. But overall does the job it’s meant to do... and hopefully with LED bulbs... after this initial install I won’t every have to open them again. They look really nice installed! Nice output from the DRL’s. The turn signal is very sharp looking! Definitely a big upgrade from my stock headlights! If going with LED bulbs...Just make sure you find the proper bulb for a projector style headlight. If not your light output might not be the greatest. But overall... I’d recommend these lights! Glad I bought them! ... show more

Preface - if you want a plug-n-play headlight, run away from this one! It needs work to operate correctly. - The headlights look nice but after several reviews saying there is no high beam, I wanted to investigate. The wiring in this housing is a disaster!! One thing to note, this is a dual projector housing but modified to put the led turn signal in place of the high beam projector (noted further). First, yes some will have cross threaded mounting inserts (Pic 1). Remove it and take your time threading it in straight. Next, the projector is a bi-projector which has a cut off solenoid in it (metal piece inside projector on Pic 2). This can operate and give more light with high beams. It doesn't work out of the box (and it's a very poor cut off anyways). You will also find a second projector bowl under the other cap. Remove this bulb and cut the connector off. The led turn signal is covering this light, so it's useless. Now this might be tricky, but there is a big black box next to the actual usable projector. I believe this is to operate the DRL, and it needs to be removed (not unplugged but snaked out). It's not easy but it will come out. Below it is a resistor (small black box). Remove it and unplug it. Cut the wires for the other part of the resistor still in the headlight (you could leave it as well). That resistor is the problem area. The high beam and low beam were tied into it. Solder the left over two wires at the useless projector and that will operate the high beam cut off solenoid. Now I have only bench tested, but everything works at this point. The only concern is the high beam solenoid most likely will not pull enough current to prevent bulb out light. So you could wire in that resistor and use it. I was concerned about getting these based on another review here about having to modify the internal wiring for the high beam but I was up for the task if needed so I pulled the trigger. After getting them I checked out the wiring and was able to see what the other reviewer was mentioning. There is an H7 bulb just shinning away into nothing but this bulb has a purpose as it is part of the solenoid for high beams. The bulb acts as a resistor so you don’t get a bulb warning, that’s it. I did get the included adapters but wasn’t sure if my car would need them since there are several headlight configurations over the span of the MK6 Jetta. Without the adapter all light worked but not as expected so I used the adapters and then the operation was exactly that of the oem lamps. Fit is actually quite nice. No odd gaps and as long as you understand how the adjusters work you can get a perfect fit. Of course you will need to adjust the aim and this is as super easy as with the oem lamps. Don’t forget this or you will be disappointed or that guy who blinds everyone like some videos I’ve seen of people that’s installed these. I fully removed the fascia aka “bumper” and the replacement took about 1.25 hours. This was with a lift and power tools. Best part too is that there is no bulb warning even with the led turn signal circuit. Just with this manufacturer made tail lights for the facelift models. ... show more
