Great reviews, a good price, quick shipping. So far so good. When the boots arrived I was super excited to see the vibrant burgundy color. When I wore them for our family Christmas the booties were extremely comfortable and I felt stylish wearing them. I have a history of getting plantar fasciitis and have a bunion on one foot. Comfort is important to me. I’m 5’10” so while I think heels look beautiful on others I don’t need the height and am not inclined to mess my feet up by wearing huge heels. These booties are perfect! I can’t seem to find better ankle boots. They are a slip in, very flexible, gussets, rubbery sole, very cushioned. Like a memory foam mattress, I mean it, it’s the stand out feature. I wish they had a more sophisticated profile and pointier toe, but they look good as is. You can tell up close, it isn’t suede, but gosh, it sure is close. The taupe is on point. I seriously swapped sneakers out one day for a walk and I’ve worn them around the house and they were great while healing my sprain by hugging the ankle and foot. Love these shoes. I have narrow feet and 9 M (true to my size) fit me like a glove. Stylish and comfortable - can wear them all day and I walk a lot. Love the comfort of the boot. I wear and ordered a size 11 and was able to walk comfortably in them. The boot would be better if an inside zipper was made. It’s a struggle to get your foot down onto the boot because the heel gets caught on the rigid lower part of the heel. The loop on the back is useless to aid pulling the boot on if you don’t have a very skinny finger to slip through the loop to use it as a pull-on aid. My feet are always cold, and I was hoping these would be warm. The high today was 22°F and I wore them with thin socks. My feet stayed warm all day! My only issue is because I need a half size, I ordered an 11, so they are a tad too big, but some thicker socks will fix that.
