(Original review - 4 stars) Been looking for ankle-height gray boots that didn't have too high of a heel and thought these were cute. My normal size (9) was out, so I ordered an 8.5 and a 9.5 to see which fit better. Others had said the toe box was roomy so I wasn't surprised when I liked the 8.5 better overall for length. There was a slight color discrepancy, though (see first pic). The 8.5, which is on the right, is clearly a solid medium gray color, while the 9.5, shown on the left, has a brownish tint and more of a brushed look. Both sizes have nice cushy insoles and feel comfy on the foot. In my second pic, I wanted to show the width of the boot. This is the 8.5 (which I kept). My foot is flat and at-rest on the floor, and you can see the boot is barely wide enough for my foot to fit, and my feet are average width (if not a bit narrow) with an arch, so a person with wide or flat feet might not find these comfortable. As a gripe to manufacturers, I don't understand why shoes are so narrow in general these days... why not make shoes so the foot can sit normally inside of them? I currently have expanders in these to stretch them a bit, so I'm hoping that by the time it's cold weather season I can wear these with socks just fine. (Edited review - 5 stars) So we ended up having a random cold, rainy weekend after some 70-something degree weather and I decided to wear these boots. Not only did the expanders work well to stretch the width a bit, but the boot is very comfy overall. It's almost like it put a spring in my step as I walked... very cushy insoles! I also love that the heel isn't hard material, so when I walked down tiled hallways there was no annoying or attention-grabbing clack-clacking with every step I took. Very warm, stylish, nice boots. I got these boots , and have liked wearing them all winter , they are dressy . And wear well .Have fur lining . I always wear them out.. my feet are comfortable. I have had no problems with them. They resemble a slouch. They have zippers. Decorative buckle and straps . I made a good choice with these. Beautiful boots. I got my Size and it fit well .true to size. There just really nice, well made. I really like them! Small heel I like! Happy I got them. I would recommend this boot. ... show more

    • Most comfortable boot I have ever worn.
The boot looks really good - but it is the fit, the comfort , and the price that make it the big winner. I love wearing boots, but a lot of boots just don’t make the grade - they look cheap, or they don’t fit right, the style is atrocious, the color is just plain ugly, or only the independently wealthy can afford them. When I tried these on, I was astonished at the comfort. I have other boots that I thought were comfortable, but these boots? - like walking on clouds. They are easy to get on and off with the zippers (a firm requirement for me), the color is spot on, they look fantastic - oh, and did I mention that they are so comfortable I barely know I am wearing boots? I have to keep looking at my feet because it feels like I have forgotten to finish dressing! I especially like the look of the double buckles, but I wish they were at the bottoms of the boots instead of the tops, because I am the only one who gets to see them, and then only when I am putting them on. Otherwise, the buckles at the top are hidden from the crowds instead of peeking out below the hems with each step. I have been trying to find a pair of boots for my hubby, and the male population isn’t nearly as fortunate as we girls. I can’t find anything in the men’s department that begins to compare with these boots. In fact, he and I are both wondering if we can make a pair of these boots fit his male foot.     • Winter boots - Quality, fabulous, super comfy and warm
These are FABULOUS boots. Unbelievably cushy and comfortable and they seem real quality. The one thing everyone should know is that they are much more serious winter boots than your standard ankle boot (while still fashionable and super cute!). They are fleece lined which adds to them being so cushy but they can get hot. They are going to be really great for walking in snow, etc. tho due to the outer material. I bought this pair and another pair of boots but could only keep one and it was a really hard decision. Ultimately I had to send these ones back but only because I live in milder Seattle. If I lived somewhere that got more serious winters these would definitely be it, no question! I definitely recommend these, just be aware they are warm and very winter ready!! ... show more

These have become my go-to boots. They are comfortable from the outset but the only thing about them is that it does not have good heel support. the heel doesn't sit quite under my heel. I think it does fit true to size. I wear 7. I think the boots are wearable for long periods.

In my experience, boots are either cute or comfortable but these are both. I have been wearing these all day at work, and there is no pinching or smooshing. I have walked around, and my feet feel cushioned. The heel is perfect, and it doesn't feel like a heel at all because of the wedge. I would definitely buy these again! ... show more

These boots are SO comfortable! Can be worn with short skinny jeans or under bootcut. They look cute but what really shocked me was how comfortable they were. I walked miles in them the first day I wore them and had literally ZERO issues. No rubbing, no sore feet…nada. I was thoroughly impressed! And on top of looking good they make your tosies feeeeeel good. You won’t regret the purchase. They run true to size. They are not narrow. Maybe just a little on the wide side? ... show more

I sized down because I am between sizes and they were out of my regular (léger) size so I figured I would give it a try based on reviews that mentioned that the toe box is roomy.
