They aren't as slouchy as they look in the pictures, they keep their form when you're not wearing them. You can wear them with leggings or with bootcut jeans. I got the brown ones and they're more warm toned than dark. My favorite thing about these is how comfortable they are! The inside is memory foam and they are fully lined with a soft, almost plush material - very warm! I wear a 9.5 wide and ordered a 9.5 and they are a little tight around the toes but I wore them all day at work with no issues. Buying footwear without trying it on is always risky, but I loved the look of these boots and crossed my fingers...and I'm glad I did!! They are comfortable, good looking and easy to get on and off. I have a high in-step, so being able to get in and out was something I wondered about...no problem. I have a wider foot and one foot being a bit larger than the other...no problem. At first trying these boots on I was a little sceptical. They molded to my feet and I am so glad I bought them. I wear an 11 medium width my feet are a little narrow in the heels that sometimes cause my feet to slde around. These did not do that. The heel is the perfect height for stability. I needed a set of boots for an event and settled on these. I didn't have great expectations because shoe-shopping online is so difficult. However, straight out of the box these were so comfortable and looked great. Come the day of my event and it had been raining for days prior, so there was standing water everywhere and everything was super muddy. I wore these shoes all day (11 hours! and 7 of those without ever sitting down) and my feet didn't hurt at all. Neither did my legs even the next day. On top of that, despite being wet all day and accidentally stepping directly into huge puddles twice, no water got into my boot, and my socks stayed dried. I really didn't expect these to be able to handle water at all, and I didn't expect them to be so comfortable. They also haven't stained or discolored from either the water or the mud, which is another plus. Tldr; I love these and am super happy I bought them. Well worth the cost. ... show more

I ordered a size up, as I always have trouble finding the right fit for footwear, and find that it fits fine except there is some extra room in the toe area.
