Super sweet setup. Great sound. So versatile. Great for the TV and bluetooth to the phone for rocking music. Great balance of sound. Have to play with the settings a bit to find the balance you like (different rooms have different acoustics) Very easy to set up and use.

Overall, this is a great little sound bar. Pros; You get big, bold sound at an affordable price. For a 50yo fart like myself, the Dialogue setting is great. It works better than the same function on my smart TV. I can finally hear the voices over the music with the volume turned down. The set up was very easy. There is a support phone number on a sticker on the back of the remote. Cons; The volume level display, telling you what number the soundbar volume is set to, is very inconsistent. Sometimes it appears when I change the volume, other times it does not. There does not seem to be a real pattern. I'm glad there was a support number because I thought the bar wasn't working correctly because nothing displayed on the TV when I changed the settings. Even if I have the input set to the Vizio20 soundbar. There's all sorts of buttons on the soundbar remote for EQ, bass, treble and other functions but you only know they're working because the light on the side of the sound bar changes. If you turn up the base with the remote do not expect to see a base level pop up on the television screen. You will only know the EQ has changed functions because it will actually speak to you and tell you that it has changed to "Movie", "music", "dialog", etc. But, thankfully, you will hear the difference. If you desire a big bass sound you won't get it with this soundbar, but that was not my goal. I don't need to hear the whole home thump and vibrate every time a Transformer changes, for example. In general this was a pretty good product of that has simple setup. It works intuitively with the fire stick and my smart TV, though they all start up a little slower now with this item attached. I would say it's worth the money you spend. I did have mixed results when calling support from Vizio. The first call connected me to and overseas call center that had no knowledge of their sound bar and did not help at all. I called back a second time a few minutes later and got a gentleman that announced right away that he was in Kansas. He understood me clearly, cleared up all the issues and answered all of my questions very quickly. So it might be a mixed bag if you call for support. ... show more

An avid audio/video file since the 80s, I owned plenty of hi end equipment. I had an AV processor that controlled my speakers for watching movies. It kicked, you can feel the bass pumping through your body. Over the years they created smaller, self contained SS systems with tiny speakers and sub woofers that were clearly lacking, and could not handle volume above mid point before distortion set in. It was really frustrating. I stopped buying them altogether because o haven’t found one that excites me and can enhance my viewing experience, until now. This Viseo V Series 5.2 packs a punch, at both low and high volume. My dialogue, which comes from the center speaker on the soundbar, was too low. If I increased the volume, everything was too loud. Adjustments were clearly needed. I knew this system was capable, I just didn’t know how. By pressing Level on the remote, you can cycle through the component you want to adjust. I found dialogue, hit the plus sign, but wasn’t able to tell if I’m actually increasing it. I was expecting a number of 1 to 10 on the LCD but received no indication I did anything. I then realized there’s a vertical band of LEDS on the soundbar. Every time I pressed + on the remote, the vertical LEDs on the soundbar would jump one towards the top. Now I have a visual that tells me what I’m changing, and whether I’m decreasing or increasing. I next went to center speaker, which was at the mid way point on the sound bar. I think all speakers are at the midway point. I simply increased that and have it a test run. Now I can hear dialogue, and when SS or music kicks in, it doesn’t overpower the dialogue. Perfecto!! You can customize the volume, treble, bass, and balance/fade any way you wish. This is vital in setting up your surround system. Trust me on this. I highly recommend. It does not handle some encoded formats like DTS Plus, but that’s easily fixable. I used HDMI arc, not digital optical to connect. ... show more
