This soundbar connects seamlessly to the computer, and the separate woofer then connects to that device without the need for any wiring. The only connection is power to the bar. I'm not one to write reviews (sorry, because I DO rely on them) on my purchases with the exception of when I'm truly impressed. This is a product that the "description by Amazon" was checked off to a "T". Packing was done right, easy and simple instructions for setup, and the sound is amazing. I'm certainly not a techie but I am a 70 year old that did the install by myself! Very happy with purchase and definitely would recommend this in a heart beat. For under $100 on sale this is a good system. I was comparing this to a Razer Leviathan which I simaltaniously bought. The Razer is almost twice as much and didnt have as full of a sound compared to this. The Leviathan sounded crisper and better when gaming, but the Vizio sounded better when watching shows. I was using this for my 42 inch oled that I have computer and a couple consoles attached to at my desk. I placed the sub under the desk very close and I could feel the bass pretty well. I heard no rattling or had any sync problems with the sub. You can adjust the bass by holding the Bass button on the remote and hitting +. I had to read the manual to figure that out. I ultimately went with the Leviathan because it shines with gaming from PC and consoles. Plus the Vizio dropped $30 since I bought it so another reason to return.     • Subwoofer makes a piping sound.

I’ve had this for a little over a year. At first it was great. The sound bar has pretty good sound and gets loud enough. The subwoofer worked great at first. It has started making a piping noise about 3 months ago when deep bass vine on. Also the volume likes to randomly change all of the sudden.

Excellent sound. Connected the sound bar to Samsung TV. Optical input is the best. At first, I was worried that the volume could not be controlled via the TV remote control. After reading the manual's instructions, I linked the TV remote control with the sound bar. The TV remote can now control volume and switch on the sound bar, hence no need for using 2 remote controls. The product is better than many highly priced sound bars. ... show more

We returned the first name brand sound bar we purchased and ordered this one. We are much happier with this one, sound is perfect for our bedroom and it has a display on it so we know it is on, and what the setting is. Reasonably priced.

I have it in my kitchen under a 32-inch wall mounted tv, it doesn't come with wall mount brackets so you can get some on amazon for a couple of bucks, it's made to be put on a table, its sounds good for its size. The wall speaker is 20 inches long. The Wi-Fi connected small sub-woofer picture is next to the coffee maker for reference. It makes my YouTube music sound much better! I wouldn't put it on my 109 inch. projection tv, but for a kitchen or a guest bedroom tv. It works. For the price and size, I give it 2 thumbs up. The delivery was fast. it came in a couple of days after I ordered. I would ask for the free amazon packaging because its box shows what it is. Porch pirates! lol! The only reason I'm not returning this is due to the only Amazon return site is 45min away,one way. I bought it on prime day so it wasn't that bad for price but the new design is horrible. They made it shorter but wider. Doesn't fit under the TV and takes up more width room on the TV stand. It has a hiss. You can't tell what mode its in due to it only having 1 inidacpr light. The voice prompt when cycling through settings is so low even with everything that makes noise in the house turned off you can't hear the prompt. You cant tell what volume level its at either due the the lack of indicator light. The subwoofer barely comes on even when synced up properly. Unless listening to music. I thought maybe it was due to the older TV but when I used Bluetooth to connect to my phone,the volume won't go high enough to enjoy the music. The whole unit is just junk. Only plus side is it was just over $100. Put your money elsewhere. ... show more
