This is a wonderful product. I bought a five foot long, three foot wide version to start garden vegetables and flowers seedlings. The frame poles easily "snap" together and although appearing flimsy during set up, are very sturdy and strong when finished assembling. The cover is very heavy and much thicker and stronger than I expected. The zipper is very heavy duty as well. There are a lot of viewing windows and ventilation ports. The cover was a little bit of a struggle to figure out and get on the frame by myself but was doable. Total assembly time was about 35 minutes by myself. I can 100% highly recommend this product as it has exceeded all of my expectations. ... show more

Absolutely love it! Very durable, thick material with reflective interior. Also purchased the inline duct fan with carbon filer, heater, and oscillating fan, and my seedlings immediately responded. An absolute must have for those of us who start seeds indoors early.

Ordered the 3x3x6 (36x36x72) the tent is slightly bigger than listed - probably around 3 inches horizontally and vertically. I'm 5 foot 11 inches tall and have plenty clearance overhead and I can line 3 pots up that are wider than 12 inches without effecting the tent's shape. If you plan to put it in a small space like I did, you'll likely want to climb inside the tent and build it from the inside. It has ample vents - 1 round vents in the ceiling, 6 round vents on the walls (1 at the top and 1 at the bottom), and 2 velcro flaps on the bottom left and right walls. There is one rather large viewing window on the top of the door. I wish they had added a viewing window on the bottom as well, so I can check on my peripherals without having to open the tent. It has minimal light leakage - mostly around the velcro and corners - but it was pretty easy fix. The lime green trim looks very nice. Setup was so simple that I only had to read step 1 of the instructions. Vivosun could save on resources by simply including a single sheet of instructions for the product you purchased instead of including a booklet that tells you how to setup every single tent they make. All in all, it seems like a well made product, though I have nothing to compare it to. I need to purchase a couple more tents and they will likely be from Vivosun. ... show more

    • Outstanding tent for the first time grower.

Amazon has so many 4x4 tents in the price range, and I agonized over which brand to buy. Ultimately, it was the reviews here and on some other sites that led me to giving Vivosun a chance, and I'm so glad I did. Assembly was pretty simple. I did it myself in under an hour. The included instructions aren't great, but easy enough to figure out. The build quality was very impressive for the price point -- especially the zippers. Another thing I really liked was that the bottom flaps aren't vented. I have this in my basement, and while I don't have a bug problem by any means, it isn't uncommon for rolly-polly bugs or spiders to make temporary homes down there, so I didn't want them taking up residence in my tent! The bars are deceptively strong. I wish there were one or two more, but I have about 40 pounds worth of lighting hanging from one, and about 40 pounds of filter, fan, and duct work from the other. Yeah, they bow a bit, but they're not about to fall down. I did have an initial concern about the bars, and noticed that there were a few pinholes in my tent. I was kind of bummed about it, and contacted Vivosun. To my amazement, they got back to me within hours, and had some spare parts to my door. To say I was impressed there is a major understatement. It led me to buy a bunch of other things (So if you're reading other reviews I've written -- no, I have not received any compensation from them at all. I just like their products.) I think this is pretty great as a starter tent. That's not to say that the quality isn't good enough for advanced growers to use it, but it hits that sweet spot in pricing where you'll start to figure out what you really like about a tent (like good zippers, windows instead of vents) and what you wish you had (openings that were flat to the ground, more crossbar support). I also think the size is that nice "not too big, not too small" for the first-time grower. If I were to recommend a tent to someone starting out, this would unquestionably be the one. ... show more

Heavy duty, and the gray looks a lot better than the traditional black used with tents which tends to make the place look like a scene from 2001 A Space Odyssey... Pricing is good and on par with the others if not better. Definitely would go with this again over the others.

I went with this tent because it seemed to check all the boxes in my requirements. It was very well packaged and super easy to set up. I’m impressed with the quality of construction and components used. Everything seems to be good quality and built with the future in mind, looks like it will last.
