The media could not be loaded. Okay, so first, the bike came with the tip of it's seat torn up in transport, see photos. Also, one of the tires wasn't fully seated in the rim. The good news is that the seller was kind enough to instruct me on how to try to mount the tire fully, and also offer me a partial refund for a new seat. I was originally going to give it 4 stars, but giving 5 because of the excellent customer service. You do have to assemble it out of the box and that took me at least an hour and a half to do on my own. The instructions are not particularly easy to understand at all, but with some common sense, you can figure it out. It has multiple speeds and can go pretty fast. You have to pedal for a few minutes to get the motor to start, and then it takes over the hard work for you, and you only have to pedal every once in a while to keep the motor going. You can adjust the pedaling difficulty if you're going up a hill or anything like that. It has quite a few different gear speeds. It's very sleek looking, I love the shiny black with red accents. It rides pretty smoothly, but I honestly think I'll be happy to get a different seat because the one it comes with isn't very comfortable. But it looks like a standard road bike seat. I think it will do the job nicely and I'm excited to ride it more. I hope this helps you decide! ... show more

This is an excellent bike for me I use it to get to and from work round trip of about 7 miles. I've had this bike since June and the only negative is the battery is already going bad. I'm 6ft 4in 255lbs and I've almost git1,100 miles on the bike well worth the investment just wish a new battery wasn't so expensive. ... show more

    • Good choice for a first e-bike
We bought the bike for running local errands because of the high gas prices so performance wasn't important, but the bike is a lot of fun and we're riding it more than we thought we would. Assembling the bike wasn't terrible - all the cables and brakes are already attached to the handlebars so the handlebars only needed to be inserted and secured into the frame. The rear wheel is already attached to the frame, and for the front wheel, simply remove the temporary spindle/axle and insert the wheel into the front forks. Then it's just the seat, pedals, and putting the chain onto the sprocket (the chain is already there). The instructions aren't step by step but they're decent, and all the tools are included. The battery seems good - after a 11+ mile ride with the bike set on the medium setting, it only took about 20-30 minutes to recharge. Very happy with the bike. ... show more

I bought this bike almost a year ago and I've been using it daily to get back and forth to work. My job is almost 4 miles away up a steep hill and rest mostly flat. Takes the hill with absolute ease...I do pedal the entire ride just to save on battery and give it a Lil extra umph but ya overall the bike is great! I have a Lil over 4,000 miles on it...you can see from my pictures the bike is still in great condition..other than the back tire...but hey 4k miles lol. Oh and yes my handlebars are on backwards I know...I installed them backwards and rode like that a few months and someone told me they were backwards...I'm not changing them lol works great and I'm use to it very comfortable honestly. This was an anniversary present for my 70 year old husband, and he loves it! My husband likes to stay active, so he rides his regular bike a few times a week, however, he is slowing down. When a friend purchased his e-bike, my husband and I talked about this being just what he needed. The price was excellent, and we purchased assembly to make sure it was done correctly. Assembly took no time at all (this was reviewed earlier), and before you knew it, my husband was off and running! He did have to do a few practice runs to become familiar with the bike. My one complaint is that there should be additional information besides assembly instructions. One of his biking partners had to explain to him things like how the throttle kicks in, and how he should use it. There may be other issues that need explaining, but nothing just now. Bottom-line: my husband is in heaven with his gift, and this was the perfect 50th anniversary present for me to give to him! I would absolutely recommend this bike to anyone interested in an entry level, and inexpensive e-bike. ... show more

I got this bike for my birthday last year. I started riding bike to work. Its only 2.5 miles to work. The bike worked great in the beginning. A year later and I just have to use it as a regular bike. It wont even go 100ft with out dying. The battery is showing it is fully charged. BUYERS BEWARE!! I am still waiting on a reply from the company (in china) to get back. They wanted me to send a video of the bike shutting off. I am not able to do that. If they fix the situation i will change my review but i am not holding my breath. ... show more
