  • Comfortable
Fabric Type: Cotton Color: Desert Moon
Most comfortable affordable and sturdy hammock we have owned. There were no missing parts and easy to set up. You have different colors to choose from and you won't be disappointed. We use this alot and it can hold 2 people so very sturdy. Had this for years now, still no holes and easy to travel with if you wanted to pack up and take camping. ... show more

  • Easy assembly, very sturdy for price point, great purchase for my townhouse patio
Fabric Type: Cotton Color: Desert Moon
I'm sitting in this purchase as I write this. This is probably my best Prime Day purchase ever. I have lived in my townhouse for 5 years but have rarely used my backyard patio. This hammock was the perfect purchase. It took about 10 minutes to set up and is very sturdy. My patio is slightly uneven, and there are no problems with the stand shifting. The cotton fabric is super comfortable and breathable. There are multiple holes on the stand to increase tension as the fabric naturally stretches overtime. I have mine on the 3rd hole on the side where I have put my head and the 2nd hole for my feet. I'm about 5 ft 6, and there's a decent amount of space left on either end. I would think someone about 6 ft could lay down very comfortably. The only thing that may bother some people is the style of the hammock fabric, as it is designed for 2 people. The sides do come up a bit higher, and it acts almost like a cocoon if you lay narrowly. With your elbows or knees slightly spread, the fabric doesn't wrap over you. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase! ... show more

  • The favorite spot in the porch!
Fabric Type: Cotton Color: Desert Moon
I was skeptical buying this, but the price was low enough that I gave it a chance. The prime shipping was awesome! Putting it together was a little challenging with one person, but with two people, it was really easy. It is easy to move around, the frame is light enough for me to carry it by myself, though a little awkward. I was a little concerned about the weight limit ... I'm quite chubby, and while I'm WAY under the 450lb limit, I was still skeptical, knowing that my kids would jump in the hammock with me. It has been just great, and super sturdy. The hammock took a couple days to stretch out, and be tightened, but I haven't had to adjust it in months. It IS inside a screened-in porch, so does not get exposed to rain or sun, I'm sure that helps prolong the life of the fabric. Its quite comfortable - with one adult, it has a bit of a "cocoon" effect with the extra fabric. Its been a favorite reading spot for my kids, and its really easy to use, even my 3 year old hops in and out with the older kids. I try to sneak some quiet-mommy-reading-time in, but I always seem to end up with at least 1 kid joining me in the hammock. Every guest we've had has commented that they love it, don't want to get out, and need to buy one for their home. Bottom line - we love it! Its been great for the whole family, comfortable and very relaxing! UPDATE - almost 2 years later, and still recommending it to everyone we know! ... show more

  • You Want To Know The Truth? It's My Bed.
Fabric Type: Cotton Color: Desert Moon
I first got into hammocking when looking for an alternative to sleeping on the ground through the 8-day outdoor Jewish festival of Sukkot. After spending over a week in a camping hammock, I was sold on the idea of sleeping in a hammock indoors as well. I ran into the problem of living in an apartment and not feeling the need to risk of pulling my walls in on me as I slept and potentially losing my deposit so I looked into hammock stands. Most of them were WAY too big. The average distance for anchors is usually around 12-15 feet, so the regular hammock stands wouldn't fit inside my one-bedroom apartment. Then I found this bad boy. After opening the box, you'll find that this hammock stand + hammock, when put in the carrying bag it comes with is roughly as heavy as slinging around a bag of kitty litter. It's about a meter long in the bag - easily fits in a trunk or across the backseat of a car. Upon opening, there are only 5 parts - the two legs, the middle connector, and the two arms. Everything slips together with only the slightest bit of friction and are held together by 4 knobbed bolts you turn by hands - no tools necessary. The entire thing can be assembled in about a minute with a little practice. One of the coolest things about this hammock stand is how adjustable it is to truly fit most any hammock in a limited space. Though the average distance between anchors is usually 12-15 feet, I have yet to meet anyone that tall. All you need is 7 feet, tops. With two downward facing hooks on the backside of the arms, the hammock supports drape the u-shaped tops of the arms. The hooks have several height adjustments so you can dial in your height or change whether or not you want one side higher than the other or if you want the entire hammock higher or lower. The hammock isn't bad either. I got the desert-like color schemed canvas hammock and it's quite comfortable. It's breathes very well and is very straight-forward. It fits on easy with two very large knotted loops on each end with metal rings within the loops for support. I suppose the rings can taken out for easy washing, but I have yet to do so. I have a bed as well as this hammock and stand in my apartment that I go between, but I much prefer the hammock. With u-shaped neck pillow and a blanket, I get an extremely sound night's sleep. My cat usually sleeps in it with me. I have yet to test it's outdoor durability over long periods of being left outside, but I think the frame would be fine after being left out in the elements. You may want to bring the hammock in in inclement weather, but then again, it's just a matter of running a hook through a pre-tied loop. I actually keep the hammock in my living room and it can be used for additional seating if you sit in it sideways with both legs out one side. I may consider buying a few more of these to keep in case I have company over. They set up quicker than an airbed and are muuuch more comfortable. ... show more

  • Beautiful, comfortable, sturdy, and fun.
Fabric Type: Cotton Color: Desert Moon
I now have two of these, both in the desert moon pattern. One is on my deck, and I bring the cloth in when it rains. Unhooking it from the frame is very fast and easy, which is good since it's always raining when I do it. (Ideally, I would watch the weather more closely and bring it in BEFORE it starts raining, but that's never going to happen.) Con: The frame is too wide to fit through a doorway, so if you discover that outside is often too wet, hot, cold, or dark and buggy for a hammock and decide to use it indoors, moving it may not be possible. I don't know how in the world other people are taking theirs down to move it or to take with them on trips. Like I said, I've bought two of these, and they each took me 20 difficult minutes to put the frames together. Understanding how to do it is simple, but forcing one pipe into another is darned difficult. I had to use a hammer on both of mine to get them together, and there's no way these frames will ever pull apart again. And that is why when I wanted to have mine in a different place and couldn't fit it whole through a doorway, I had to buy a second one. ... show more
