  • Great buy, if you get a good battery.
Color: Black
Despite the battery not lasting as advertised (not many hills here and lasts roughly 8 to 10 miles on power only pas5 (which I believe was probably just old or possibly used) this bike has been great, and a transportation asset for me and I’m happy I got it. The key can be confusing to turn on at first, but a cinch once you figure it out. The cord sticking out the front easily catches door knobs etc when moving it around. Every month you’ll need to recheck the bolts and brakes and minor maintenance just with any other bike. I’d give 5 stars if my battery were not defective, or old. I hope they can replace it. I also wish these things came with an alarm system and they would finally add Bluetooth. The manual states it has Bluetooth but it’s not there. Also if it would self stand when folded and not tip over at the slightest wind blowing. I like that they have after market parts in their store. They also seem to be slowly adding new features constantly and evolving their products which makes me want to stick to this brand. Overall I’m happy with my purchase ... show more

  • So much fun!
Color: Orange
I love this bike so much. It's very fun to ride, has great power, and looks incredible. It's a bit bulkier than I was prepared for and I'm unable to transport it easily in one of my vehicles. At 78lbs, it's difficult to maneuver and get into the car. I have also put a couple of good dings in my lower leg moving it in and out of the garage. I bought the alternative pump up seat for added comfort, added a cup holder and a cell phone holder. The battery lasts for about 18 miles around the streets of my neighborhood. There are some small inclines/declines but nothing major. I was a little disappointed with its performance on the beach. It seemed to work very hard on the beach, leaving the battery drained quickly. UPDATE I've had this bike for a couple of months now and I still love it. My initial thoughts about its performance on the beach may have been unfair. I have had it on the beach many times since and it's been great. I think the first attempt was just on a day that had little har-packed sand. I definitely should have put something on the chain to keep the salt water from rusting it. I have a little trouble getting the battery out of the bike at times because sand finds its way in there. Also one key seems to struggle with unlocking the battery a little more than the other but both work. I've found that I need to press on the silver button that keeps the battery locked in while I turn the key to unlock it. Then it's much easier. I'd still give the bike 4 stars, maybe 4.5 if I could. ... show more

  • Great bike
Color: Gray
I've only ridden it once so far, so I'll be coming back to update this after I've had more time on it. The instructions make it sound like the acceleration is going to be too much to handle, but to me it just seems like a good level. Especially if you start out at PAS1. The electric assist stops just after you stop pedaling, and the brakes have excellent stopping power. I never took the bike out of 7th gear. The acceleration feels very intuitive and smooth. I think I saw someone else also pointed out that the setting defaults to the wrong wheel size so the displayed speed was a bit higher and what it actually was, but that's easily corrected in the settings. I also found the setting to set the max speed to comply with local laws. My first ride was just under 3 mi. I'm eager to take it out for a longer ride to really test out the range. ---UPDATE--- I did another short ride, bringing the total to just over 5mi. I didn't charge between rides bc the manual said to completely deplete the battery between charges. Towards the end of this ride, I saw a significant decrease in acceleration. I tried PAS and throttle, and both were severely reduced. (this wasn't up a steep hill, either) ---UPDATE--- Took it for another short ride, and acceleration was back to normal. I was able to get it up to top speed for both PAS and straight throttle. --update-- I was only able to get in about 24mi before the battery was totally depleted. Tbf, I ride close to top speed all the time and I even took it up a few steep hills. I think one could possibly get 40mi of range of you stayed below 25mph and avoided steep hills. For me, I think the most I'll get is 30mi on a single charge, which is acceptable. --update 9/6 -- the rear brake has been squealing loudly most of the time I've owned this, but I had just been using the front brake to slow down and fortunately haven't needed to stop suddenly. Support gave some suggestions to fix, but nothing worked, so I ended up taking it to a bike shop for adjustment. The brakes are very low quality, and I'll probably be replacing them with hydraulic brakes eventually. ... show more
