I use this as a second battery for my E-bike. I attached a splitter to the controller/battery connection, and place the battery in a rear bag on the bike rack. I like that I can get a quick check of the charge state on the side of the battery. Since both my original battery and this one are 10 Ah, I get easily double the range of my single battery. I was checking the warmth of the battery frequently at first, and feel comfortable that it is not heating up, either when charging or running my bike while enclosed in a bag. Note that the charger brick does get very warm when charging; I make sure to rest it on edge or tilted to allow good airflow when charging. I added an on/off switch along the wire to this battery, and I make sure not to have both batteries turned on at the same time. My bike works fine using either battery. ... show more

This Battery is far from 14Ah . After some range testing on a 1000w Hub Motor going @ 28mph I get about 12miles of Range . This is far from the est 19 Mile range you should get from a 14Ah Battery, and the actual capacity of this battery comes to around 9Ah (37% less than advertised) . Build quality is fine & it fully charges in 1hr 30mins with a fast charger . ... show more

This deans connector would frequently spark when plugged in, but it was the connector that came with the battery and it worked fine once plugged in until today when it fried the battery entirely. No signs of life. Only used the battery a couple dozen times, but now I'm outside my return window.

I wanted this battery to extend the run time for my Ecoflow delta mini backup power. When we loose power I have a generator. But I don't want to run the generator while sleeping. As a minimum I want 6 hours running my refrigerator that takes 150W with occasional increases to run the compressor and defrosting heating element. The EC Mini only lasted 4 to 4 1/2 hours so I needed another 1 1/2 hours from a battery connected to the car battery/solar input (XT60) on the EC Mini. The EC Mini has a max input current of 10Amps, so I chose a 36V 10AH Li-ion battery. The additional 360WH from this battery was enough to get 6 hours. The EC Mini has a standby power of 27W even when not supply any output power. That surprised me and accounts for the lower runtime than expected. Also the EC Mini efficiency calculates around 75%. ... show more
