HD failed within months, SSD is failing just shy of a year of owning. My only plans for this PC are gutting it and building my own, which apparently I should have just done from the start. 1 year warranty on it, however it ONLY covers labor costs. Shipping, packaging, and parts are extra.

These pc's are trash, they cannot perform as described. They do not have the components as described. They cannot run the games they say they can without looking like something from the 1980's. They have no storage space what so ever, my son could not even download one game! After buying an external hard drive he was able to download a game in about 20 hours. So SLOW... NO BUILT IN WIFI OR BLUETOOTH CAPABILITIES! And both of mine arrived missing parts and damaged! I bought two for my son's for Christmas and ended up spending $1400 on two shells really because for them to be able to play the games they play I'm gonna have to buy new cpu's, gpu's, ssd's, operating system software and whatever else one needs to be able to game on PC. These are a waste of alot of money and the customer support sucks. Spend the little extra and buy name brand.... ... show more

    • Computer won’t boot up; still awaiting refund

Computer lights looked great. Sadly, that’s all that functions on this computer. Received yesterday, 13yo opened gift last night, placed service call this morning. They offered to 1) send me a replacement SSD card (via USPS) to replace myself (/AFTER/ they receive the dysfunctional SSD they installed) OR 2) replace the entire computer [*see recent ViprTech reviews demonstrating why these options don’t interest me]. These options clearly indicate I’m the one who’s expected to suffer delays and extend all the trust in their direction; they will not trust me by sending replacement SSD. Since the tech had me send him numerous pics of the BIOS system page via 3 separate emails during our 21-minute phone call, but did NOT want me to send images (see attached) of the boot up error I was receiving demonstrating the computer doesn’t even startup (except to BIOS utility by spamming Del key while booting) - it seems clear he wasn’t interested in repairing ASAP the computer /that he’s been paid for/.. He didn’t even ask me to unseat/reseat the SSD card while we spoke. We’ve repacked it after taking numerous images of the unit and the box’s contents to prove exactly what we’re returning. I will edit this review with the status of our refund as the hours and days unfold. Normally Amazon issues refund as soon as UPS or Whole Foods enters a return in their system, but I’ve never returned something that costs this much; their policy may be different for this price range (>$560) Hope this review helps others. Edited to say: computer was shipped back to ViprTech 6/16/23, received today (6/20) no refund yet 6/23/23 edit: company received returned computer 3 days ago. Still no refund. 6/24/23 edit: still no refund 6/26/23: STILL WAITING 6/27/23: when I went to bed last night (26th) Amazon was reporting “refund pending” and fine print said it could take 3-5 days to be credited. Tonight it says the refund is complete. Our credit card app confirms the refund went through today (6/27). What is odd is that the Amazon “refund status”now indicates the return was received *yesterday*, which is not true. UPS delivered the computer to ViprTech 6/20 and Amazon record has said we were awaiting refund since that time. I don’t know if ViprTech fudged facts to make it appear they processed the refund on the same day, but either way, that info is very misleading.     • It just does not work

I needed a new desktop computer and also wanted to be able to play games. So I ordered the Viprtech Whiteout. When I received it, it did not work. The screen was nothing more than snow. (I have a brand new monitor AND cables) I called Viprtech and they had me do a few things, which none of them worked. So I sent it back for repair/replacement. After a long wait, and contacting them for status, all of a sudden, they shipped one out the next day. That one arrived with the hard drive unconnected to anything! The lights did not work, the fans did not work. I sent it back yet again for repair/replacement. They emailed me that a NEW device was sent out to me. I marked the one I sent back and sure enough, the same one was SENT BACK TO ME! Now at least the hard drive was connected, however, it still had the same problem and the display was nothing but snow. So at this point, since they WILL NOT refund my money, I guess I will use it for pieces parts and maybe, after installing a new graphics card, memory, hard drive and whatever else it needs, I MIGHT have a computer. Essentially, I paid for a shell. I would definitely NOT recommend this computer OR this company!!!! ... show more

Got this for my son for Christmas. We went to hook it all up and it wouldn't work. The pieces inside where coming apart with wires not hooked up and screws missing. Had to send pack and get money back. My son was so upset.

I purchased this gaming pc from you guys last year on 08/19/22 later into this year it started having issues with randomly black screening then booting back up. every time im either loading into a game or playing the game it'll just randomly black screen then boot. then on may 31st 2023 i got on it and it did it but this time it didn't boot back up so i went to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on at ALL. I have been messaging and calling the seller for over 2 weeks every day with no response to the 1 year warranty. DO NOT BUY from this company! ... show more
